Finished my first externship today! Now there’s just a week left until the graduation ceremony, and my last externship starts the week after. Once I have those 8 weeks finished, I will officially be a speech-language pathologist! It’s been a long time coming.

I’m graduating!

I have officially passed all my tests and will be graduating on May 13th!!! Also, I am going to complete my CFY year at a school district in Washington state.

When nsg writes “Disoriented to place, time, situation” on my patient with expressive aphasia

...and I know for a fact the Pt is FULLY oriented, but cannot express that information due to a little thing called EXPRESSIVE APHASIA.....

*sigh* Time for a little staff education!

I apply to graduate schools this upcoming semester. I only have 6 classes remaining. I'm scared but also very proud of how far I've come.
