An accompanying tree for the humanoids in Minecraft

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been working on an evolutionary tree for the animals of Minecraft 1.16 (including those implied by non-living items). I’ve finally gotten it to the point where I’m happy enough with it to post it. If you’re wondering why it says “created by NitroHydroRay,” that’s my username everywhere except tumblr. Progress shots from the dynmap! I spent yesterday just adding details and lighting around my crop towers. I’ve done a lot of work on my villager trading hall as well, and it’s starting to look...interesting? Spawn is looking great too!

Progress has been made! Terraforming the river is 95% done, the island is complete, floating crystal have been added, and now I have two working crop farms! The farms even have bees in them! They aren’t fully automatic, but they function and look great regardless. I built them first mostly out of necessity; I need more emerald blocks to begin larger projects. 

Sorry about the torch spam. Everything is still in the very early stages of getting decorated. 

The shader used for these shots was SEUS Renewed 1.0.0 (which is likely outdated, I haven’t looked at my shaders in a while lol)

Growing up fat, you get made fun of for everything you do, even basic shit like eating and laughing and breathing are funny when you do it because youre fat! And its so hard to not carry that with you as you get older, like I’m still embarassed to eat or dance in front of people or smile in pictures and its ridiculous and I hate it and I wish I was treated with more humanity

lol I have opinions about the last 2 comments but the gist of the post I get so reblogging. Just like. Tearing other people down is never the answer. Seriously. Obesity is a systemic, racial, and economic inequality issue. Let’s focus on those issues first.

My basic mob farm is in place! I will be adding more layers, and an entire temple AROUND the structure to hide it. But for now it functions, and it functions well! Thanks to FazyCraft for the reminder tutorial (I used an Ethonian hopper clock with 24 items instead of the boat clock, because I am worried about things breaking in 1.16. As it is, server lag means there is little synchronization between layers, but it does actually function)! 

Additionally, I spider-proofed the walls after a quick search and tip from shadowstudios. 

All additional work mostly involved lighting up the immediate area and cave systems below my pyramid-base (this I definitely have more to do). This only suited me; I needed the iron/coal ore. If you are going to reproduce this build, I recommend more than 18 stacks of blocks for building as the layers are a little too lit during the day for mob spawning (make the roof bigger, or build a larger border around it as I plan to). If you add trap doors between layers as I did for access, make sure they are not adjacent to the water dispensers (or you’ll get an obnoxious trapdoor opening/closing noise spam).
