Hotel information in the booking flow, including the hotel thumbnail image, hotel address, contact information and special note (used to alert guests of upcoming stay-impacting information, such as a power-outage, or construction disturbances), are managed by The Studio team. The image, which should be a hotel exterior or lobby shot per best practice, as it inherits as the hotel hero shot on brand websites and Hyatt.com search results in addition to the available rooms and rates of the booking flow, may be updated per request to our global website edits inbox at [email protected]. The hotel address and contact information are verified against the information in RESERVE – The Studio team manages the display of this information on Hyatt.com, however consults with Data Services for verification of the information. Requests to update the special note, which appears below the hotel information and above available rates, may also be sent to our team to manage. Important information to note: information which is already included in specific room descriptions and amenities, tax and rate information which is already included in the RESERVE details which inherit into various areas of the booking flow, and any promotional information is not appropriate in this space. The Studio team will review all requests to [email protected] before updating the special note area of a hotel’s booking flow. For the names of different rates in the available rate tabs, the display order of rates, the display order of room types, rate rules, red text information below certain rate types, and translated rate information, you may contact your hotel’s Data Services representative. If you are uncertain of which Data Services representative is aligned to assist your hotel, you may contact the group at [email protected]. As another helpful tip, Hyatt IT recently released an enhancement to the RMT tool (a tool that hotels may use to update their rates), allowing hotels to update rate plan text in local language for rates that are unique to the hotel.
