When one is in love, one always begins by deceiving one's self, and one always ends by deceiving others. That is what the world calls a romance

Evening Mood
The most important trick to be happy is to realize that happiness is a choice that you make and a skill that you develop. You choose to be happy, and then you work at it.

It’s so satisfying...
There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.

Self Torture
Working out for me is a result of love and hate relationship between mind and body.
Any effort in our lives starts in our minds first. You think of being happy and become happy. You think of getting angry and get furious. At any moment of the day you can turn it 180 degrees just by changing the direction of your thoughts.
So everyday I think of getting up, turning music on, getting dressed, putting my trainers on. I refill my water bottle, get my workout plan ready. I inhale deeply and my body knows what’s coming.
It’s not pretty. It’s hard. Your mind tells your body “You can do it”. Your body doesn’t want to but has to obey and hates you for it.
As time goes on, it gets a bit easier. Your body enjoys hormone rush. You come to the moment of your body saying “Bring it on”. And you bring it... whole hell, and enjoy every minute of it. Even if sometimes your body says “I can’t do it”, you know you can, because you think you can.
I believe you can only grow through discomfort. So try to feel a little bit uncomfortable everyday, no matter how far you have come.

Talking about morning rituals... Here’s my recipe:
First thing in the morning have two glasses of warm water (because Ayurveda), preferably with 3 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar (because people say it’s good for you...and because a fitness guy on YouTube said so).
Second thing in the morning have your coffee. I prefer milk with some coffee actually, preferably hazelnut (adds distinctive nuttiness and creaminess).
This is optional, but now you can start talk to people.
If you are interested in something, you will focus on it, and if you focus attention on anything, it is likely that you will become interested in it. Many of the things we find interesting are not so by nature, but because we took the trouble of paying attention to them.
Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, Finding Flow
The secret to life is to put yourself in the right lighting. For some, it's a Broadway spotlight; for others, a lamplit desk. Use your natural powers -- of persistence, concentration, and insight -- to do work you love and work that matters. Solve problems, make art, think deeply.

The act of discovering who we are will force us to accept that we can go further than we think.
