rebirthpyre replied to your post: p.s. - i a still open to accepting pre-established...
(you tempt me to make a comic book villain version of wes.)
:3c :3c :3c :3c
p.s. - i a still open to accepting pre-established / plotted relationships. wanna be rosa’s superhero buddy? bff? an enemy? ....something else? please.
( 1 / ??? ) Part of a small story update / headcanon series I’m doing to introduce NPCs and pre-established relationships. Actually, I just wanted an excuse to make cool graphics. Poor Rosa can’t catch a break...
Hi yes I’d just like to say @theincredibleriolugirl is so fuckin’ swanky like I’ve been on her blog for like an hour and it’s legit 10/10 please just go follow her we’re mutuals now and I’m actually so fucking hype like for real.

THE DEFENDER OF UNOVA, RIOLU GIRL!!
“Maybe I should come up with a catchphrase or something-- like, ‘In the name of the moon, I will punish you!!’ ...No, that sounds stupid.”
@lack--two!!
Man, Nate had almost been too nice to her. Who else on the entire freaking earth would give her food and a place to stay without any apparent suspicion? (Well, plenty of people, but for several days? Not many.) Anyone else probably would have asked her what was up by now--she obviously wasn’t a trainer, with only Riolu to her name and not even a valid Trainer’s ID as part of trying to lay low, and didn’t have much money left to her name, either. Not to mention the constant looking over her shoulder, jumpiness, and her particular... talent, shall she say, for making a mess. Honestly, Nate was nothing short of a saint for putting up with her.
Which all meant that she felt like he deserved to finally know the truth. He seemed trustworthy enough--at least that she had faith he wouldn’t go around blabbing her secret to everyone he knew. Plus, if she was going to keep mooching off the poor guy like this, he ought to know why.
“Uh, Nate? Can we talk for a sec? There’s something... kinda important I need to tell you.”
lavaridgespitfire:
“…yeah, it might’ve, but that doesn’t really explain how you’re still holding it…”
“It’s... a lot lighter than it looks...” It was just a wooden door, after all. It would probably be heavy to a normal person, but not so much that holding it up was impossible. She sets it down against the wall like nothing happened.
open!!
“I--I, uh, I...” She’s holding a door in her hands, pulled completely off the frame. “It... must have been loose...”

HOLIDAY HERO: MYSTERY WOMAN SAVES PASSENGERS OF RUNAWAY BUS
When a bus went skidding out on the frozen Skyarrow bridge last night, passengers thought all would be lost. That was until, witnesses report, a young woman appeared to single- handedly drag the bus to a halt just before it could plummet off of the bridge’s edge. Onlookers were able to record the incident on their Xtrancievers, but the mystery hero remains unidentified. Could it be that there really is someone straight out of a comic book looking out for--
Shit. Rosa recedes even farther into the hood of her sweatshirt, hoping to Arceus that she can hide her face from the rest of the Pokémon Center patrons. So much for lying low, now that she had her image plastered across half of Castelia–just trying to buy a few granola bars and some food for Riolu had her so anxious of being jumped that she felt like her heart was going to explode from going so fast. Dear Arceus, why did it have to be her?

Plotting Call!
@aspearbarry - I can’t reply properly bc i’m on a school computer but yeah no he got the inuyasha part but everything after that. fucking kanji.
I hecking showed it to my friend who knows Japanese and he just "Yeah I can't read this. Fucking kanji."
I don't even like inuyasha but for two dollars I was not going to pass up the surreal, entirely-japanese dvd sitting in goodwill
aspearbarry:
“Well, how do you know that they don’t know? Just cause no one in the news knows nothing, doesn’t mean no one knows anything. AND if it was a secret, you wouldn’t have any reason to know if they knew either!” That made sense..right? Why would she know anything about Interpol? She would be way too young to be an agent.
Barry turned away from her as she went on (and on and on), ready to drop the subject completely, when he heard the ear splitting noise. His head wiped back, studying the girl from head to toe– Oh god that was a hole in the floor.
His face lit up as he put two and two together. It all made sense! That’s why she was so mad. Oh, God a super hero was mad at him. That couldn’t end well. Panicking, the boy did his best to let off a few distracting coughs, pushing his messenger bag onto the floor to kick towards her foot and the hole to hide them. It wouldn’t really change the effect the noise had on people, but as long as they didn’t see anything wrong, maybe they wouldn’t freak too much.
Oh jeeze oh jeeze oh jeeze--she realizes her mistake just about as quickly as she makes it. The look on Barry’s face when he turns back around doesn’t do any good for her nerves, either - he’s clearly realized what caused the gaping hole in the subway floor - but is thoroughly surprised when he kicks his bag over to cover up the evidence.
She quickly pulls her foot away, takes a seat, and adjusts the bag as if nothing happened. Thank goodness there aren’t many people on this car, and none seem particularly concerned by what’s going on. Most looked up, assumed the noise was something outside, and moved on. There truly is nothing on earth quite like the apathy of passengers on public transportation.
“I--I’ll explain when we stop. There are just... too many people around right now...” she mumbles, facing away from Barry as she does (which doesn’t do wonders for her audibility.) “Th-Thanks...”
