We are after all different colored blobs on the face of this earth. Well, I choose Indigo!

I am lying on the floor. The ocean floor. Of the deepest, darkest ocean. Cold, hard water around me. The entire weight of the ocean on me. A steady ache in my chest, I couldn’t move without feeling pain. Numbing pain. So much that I could hear every scream, see every fear. I choked on my own breath. I wondered if I should just die. Right there. Merging into water. The ocean tightened itself around me, slowly starting to seep into me. I didn’t scream. In fact, I preferred the silence. Die in peace. That is what I wanted. To die in peace, because that is better than fighting yourself everyday. Hating yourself everyday. Yet, loving everyone around you. I give away a piece of my heart to everyone I meet. I wait for someone to keep it safe. That’s the mistake. To wait for someone else to keep what is actually mine. Why do I hate myself so much? Why. It makes living, a mess. I’m a mess. I want to rise up, to swim towards the light. Distant but mine. I have to. I need to. I need to save myself.

11. Notmucher . Usage: "The queen of England," Sophie said. "You can't call her a squifflerotter or a grinksludger...you can't call her a squeakpip or a notmucher either." . Let's pause a second over those heartwarming adjectives. 😇

10. Trogglehumper (noun) . Antonym: Phizzwizard . It's the worst kind of dream that the BFG can give you. Since it's not a peaceful turquoise coloured dream like a phizzwizard, if you put it in a jar, it will start smashing against the sides of the jar trying to get out. It'll turn into a red colour once captured.

9. Bundongle (noun) *Please read the usage to understand better* . It can be anything, of any shape, material, tangible or intangible. It's upto your imagination and what you associate with as being 'good for nothing' or 'useless'. Hence the illustration of a long, twisty pipe. It is so twisty and complicated that you might think something amazing will pop out of it 😁 but it can just be a whoosh of air or a bean. 🤗 So take your imagination on a roller coaster ride and see what pops out at the end of the pipe! What can a bundongle possibly be? 🤔 This is the beauty of Gobblefunk. . Usage: "I thought all human beans is full of brains, but your head is emptier than a bundongle."

8. Diddly (adjective) . Usage: "Every human bean is diddly and different. Some is scrumdiddlyumptious and some is uckyslush."

7. Babblement (noun) . Usage: "You is trying to change the subject," the Giant said sternly. "We is having an interesting babblement about the taste of a human bean." . P.S. Human beans equals human beings.

6. Hopscotchy . Usage: "Whenever I is feeling a bit scrotty," the BFG said, "a few gollops of frobscottle is always making me hopscotchy again."

5. Whizzpoppers . Usage: "A whizzpopper!" cried the BFG. "Us giants is making whizzpoppers all the time! Whizzpopping is a sign of happiness."

4. Frobscottle . A pretty quick and tasty way (vanilla cream with a dash of raspberry 🙆) to get a sugar rush and try a flying fart of your own! Note: The downward movement of bubbles causes farts and not burps 💨

3. Swollop/Svollop . Also means - To destroy . Usage: "He swolloped the entire pie!" "Swollop all your plans and come along!"

2. Snozzcumber . The BFG refuses to eat people or steal food from humans. So he has nothing else to eat except the foul tasting snozzcumber. It tastes like frogskin, rotten fish and cockroaches and sounds like crushing ice when eaten. 😬

1. Whoopsy splunkers . Synonyms: Phizz whizzing, Wondercrump, Whoops whiffling, Squiffling. . Usage: "How truly marvellous and squiffling!" "Now isn't this phizz whizzing!" or just "Whoopsy splunkers!!!" 🎉 🎈 . If some of you don't know what this is all about then please do take a look at my previous post😀

Attention all Roald Dahl fans! It’s time to brush up your Gobblefunk and I am here to help you with just that. To some of you, I am flushbunking i.e., making no sense. Let me explain. Gobblefunk is a language created by the much loved author, Roald Dahl, for his character The Big Friendly Giant. We call it Gobblefunk, after The BFG's instruction to Sophie: "Don't gobblefunk around with words." He built his new words from the building blocks of the old, using established patterns of word formation and sound symbolism, so children and grown-ups alike can make sense of it, even when seeing the words for the first time. I have always been a huge fan of his work and even today you will find me in the children’s section of a bookstore busy inhaling magic sparkles. As a way to spread a little gloriumptiousness, I will be illustrating and explaining as many words as I can to all you muggles 😝 So sit back and enjoy as I take you through the whoops whiffling (crazy/ unbelievable) world of Roald Dahl.
