Dude, of all the cool names you could use!“ She shook her head once more before laughing again. “But I guess a thanks is in order, we were playing football when it happened and It threw mostly everyone off for a second. And while it was very fascinating, and very good job by you, I was the only one to slowly keep going after staring at ‘dannyelipse’ for a second. Not that easy moving in the dark but I got the winning score "

Danielle blinked a few times before pressing her lips together. She looked at the guard then back at Aaron next to her. And then she looked back at the guard and well, she continued that pattern for a small moment before she brought her elbow up and nudged him, dude“. She rolled her eyes at his annoyance before she open her mouth to speak again. “Don’t be blind, I’m pretty sure she’s talking to you” she pointed out before she brought her drink to her lips.

Blake’s legs stretched out in front of her. She wasn’t a woman who took many days off from work, but she needed this. Some time by the lake, working on her tan, just enjoying the fact that it was summer and the sun was out. A shadow passed over her and she flicked her eyes open for a moment before deciding she didn’t care enough to see who it was. “You here for me, or the lake?” she asked, shifting on her blanket to make room for whoever it was.

“if i said the lake will you hold it against me?” she wiggled her eyebrows before plopping herself down next to blake. tanning usually wasn’t something danielle would do. just laying down, for however long it was, just to soak in the sun. sure, she loves soaking in the sun, more so when she moving around; being active. but just laying down? she’ll just end up falling asleep and end up with a bad burn. “have you gone in the water yet?”

In his drunken state it had taken Landon a few extra moments to realise it had been Danielle that he had just snapped at. He was already at the bar again, ordering himself another drink when he decided to turn around, finding that Dani was no longer in the space he had just been. He paused, raising an eyebrow before continuing to drink.

There was a niggling in the back of his mind as he slammed the glass back down that Danielle still hadn’t done anything else. “Dani?” He gave a quick call but nobody seemed to respond. Odd. Then he noticed her sitting up. Fainted? Was it her ability? He instantly sprung up, as best as his intoxicated body would let him, and helped her to her feet, bringing her over to the chair he had just been sat on. “Dani? You okay?”

Danielle tensed up when she stood up, keeping her breath even as she brought to a chair. Just looking at him was enough to mess with her mind. His outfit changed at least two times, each one from his past she saw. She shook her head with her eyes shut as if it was going to clear everything up and help her be more focused. Once he asked she was okay she let a bitter laughter leave her lips. " Honestly, Landon ---- what the fuck? " Her voice was nowhere near gentle. She pinched the bridge of her nose, closing her eyes once again in attempts of pushing aside some of the anger she could feel residing inside her. “ I never pegged you for the guy that likes hitting girls ” she looked over at him as she stood up from the chair.
