HADLEY WAS CERTAIN SOMETHING DARK LURKED IN TOWN , she just couldn’t quite place her finger on what it was. now she was intrigued , eager to figure out who was leaving BODIES in various places. green hues FOCUSED on the spot a body had been discovered , FAR AWAY from civilization , close to a lake. arms folded across her chest tightly , she pondered on what could have happened to all the people turning up DEAD. ❛ interesting — what are your thoughts on camping out? we could try & see if we could catch whatever’s doing this. oooh , we could even have s'mores. ❜ murder & s’mores , hadley was being RECKLESS , having magic didn’t make her invincible.

she had found a WARMTH with hunter. after months of frantic cries and constant searches for a little boy in a yellow raincoat, michelle found herself coming back when she was with him - she was happy again. her hands were hidden within the pockets of her shorts as she rocks back-and-forth on the balls of her feet, waiting for a mop of blonde to burst from his home. it didn’t take long. a smile breaks out on her lips as she nods, curls pulled back into a ponytail for once. ❝ ready when you are, hunter. ❞

HUNTER WAS GOING TO TELL HER , he didn’t really have much of a CHOICE at this point , it was beginning to bug him. he was prepared for the inevitable , prepared to lose yet another friend who would just be offended by the entire situation. as they walked side by side , he PRAYED he was the sign she was looking for , that she didn’t JUDGE him , that she could see it was a GIFT too. hunter was a NERVOUS WRECK , fingers tangled in unbrushed locks of scruffy hair. ❛ um — listen, i gotta tell you something & it’s gonna sound really weird , but i need you to just TRUST me , okay? ❜

THE SPIRIT OF A LITTLE BOY FOLLOWED HIM EVERYWHERE. he could only assume it was someone CLOSE to michelle. the kid rarely left her side. this morning had been rough on hunter , his home life was something he thoroughly AVOIDED , which was why it was good to be outside , A W A Y from it all. a goofy grin forms on his face as he spots michelle , waiting eagerly for him outside his TRAILER TRASH home. ❛ michelle — ready for our adventure? ❜ if trekking to a lake was even categorised as an adventure.
