Say Anything (1989)
Breaking away for a little "me" time down at the pool. I'm finding that I really need is this week. I've always tried to be transparent in my insecurities and with summer approaching they certainly are creeping, but the sun feels nice so I'm working on my positivity today.
☾ good vibes here
I think this is my new favorite picture of #lylajane. The pure joy and pride on her face is something I hope she never loses. When Zach and I were taking these pictures this afternoon I could suddenly see her whole life in front of us. I saw us teaching her to ride a bike, sitting in dance recitals, and cheering her on at soccer games. I saw the big moments in front of us that will hopefully continue to elicit this face. I keep fixating on my right hand... You can see the organic motion of us both trying to keep her balance and yet trying to trust that she can stand on her own. Loving Lyla is the best thing I'll ever do.
This mama got this baby to smile for a picture. 😍
This little snuggle bug is 11 months old today. She is gradually getting braver when it comes to taking steps, she whispers to herself and sticks her tongue out when she's concentrating, she's a total bed hog, and she's stubborn like her mama. I love this little nugget more than I'll ever be able to express and I'm not quite sure how to cope with a soon to be one year old.
Daddy took us to dinner 😊
