Half-full, half-empty. That is me. Im back home but it never felt the same. Not after the two of you left us, quite abruptly I must say. No goodbyes, no nothing. Half happy, half not. We still miss you everyday, Mameng and Lolong.

⭕️🔴⭕️Super busy day yesterday but my favorite part was shooting inside one of my fave store, Potterybarn! Someday, soon, I will have a house as beautifully designed and as wonderfully homey as this.
Downtime before today's grind. Still waiting for the @madhousemnl team. Sunny morning here in BGC. #VSCOcam #breakfast
How about something like #TechRoomTravels? Exploring the city scene with the Microsoft Lumia 535. . #MadTechRoom #Lumia #Microsoft (at Kota Kinabalu)
Keeping only the essential. 👌📱 But if you only had to pick one thing, which would you pick? A big phone or a bigger one? The Cherry Mobile Infinix has two options for you, the Infinix Pure and the Infinix XL.
It has been a very fun year. I'd never thought I could have my hands on so much gadgets in such a short span of time. It was only half-past 2014 when we started #TechRoom and I'd like to think it's a step closer to what we have envisioned - to review the latest in tech-lifestyle without drowning you in all that techtalk. It has been a great year with my @madhousemnl family and I'm looking forward to 2015 with our friends and partners. Cheers! 🎉🎉🎉 @rajbayy @rjzaragoza @theealison @misterbaks @julieveyga @robpotograpi @krlhns (at MadhouseMNL TechRoom)
I woke up like this. So i decided to shoot with my Infinix android phone with the mid-morning light pouring in through the window. The timer function along with the hand gesture control made it easier to conduct a solo shoot. 10-sec timer para may time mag-emote. Haha! Photo quality is average. Some grains here and there, although i did add some Sharpen in the editing process.
Halfway through the vacay, I just do nothing. Thankfully I brought with me my JBL micro wireless for a hassle free way of keeping boredom at by with music. Now, what to play on my Deezer app? #JBL #Deezer #SmartFreeInternet #music
Nice to finally have a break. Having lunch by the river and going to take a dip when the noon time sun is setting. #vacation #river #VSCOcam
N R M C R E. Delivering goodies like the little santas that we are. Happy morning!
This reminds me of childhood - all the times i would hoard the pieces and play by myself 😻 and the times I forgot one piece and stepped on it 😖 #VSCOcam #lego #childhood
There will always be a first time. Glad I was able see my first ever musical-play, bilang mahilig ako manuod ng musicals on films. These things are better live and on-stage. Thanks for the gift #SmartInfinityChicago. #VSCOcam #musical #Chicago #Solaire
I died and went to talaba heaven. Definitely one of the highlights of my Iloilo trip was the talaba food trip with new found foodie friends. Thanks @therumourilo for letting Iloilo be our #Destination2014 #Samurai #Talaba #Oysters
All I need now is a cup to warm me up inside. #VSCOcam
Time to prepare for color!
Sailor Clear Candy
So i have decided to try using fountain pens. A long time ago I wouldn't have dreamt of using one. Whenever i tried to write with it:
the ink never flows properly
you have to hold it an an angle
ink marks are the worst
i always thought they were a waste of money
cheap pens can do what they do - write things
It wasn't until recently that my friend bought a Lamy Safari that I got to totally try one and have someone actually teach me how to write with it. Long story short, I fell in love. So i decided to give it a try. I decided to start cheap - the good ones fall on a range of 1,000-1,500PHP.
I chose to go with this particular one - a Sailor Clear Candy fountain pen.
This is a Sailor Clear Candy fountain Pen in イカリ. I'm totally not sure why this particular pen is called イカリ or Anger. I've tried using Google Translate and it does translate it to those characters into the word "anger".
The pen is made out of plastic. It's light and feels so much like a regular pen. According to their website (which I Google Translated), Sailor's Clear Candy series of fountain pens is a "blockbuster." Apart from the original Clear Candy series, they also have their Clear Candy Dot, and Clear Candy Milk series.
Being a relatively cheap fountain pen, it does feel cheap - almost like a child's toy. I think Sailor designed this pen to target the younger people to use fountain pens without sacrificing the fun and color of writing instruments.
The body is threaded so every time you need to use the pen you have to twist the cap. Every time. I cannot simply leave the pen uncapped so I have to twist it each time I need to use it.
It does serve well for protecting you bag or your pocket for ink stains but the twisting part before being able to use it causes such a hassle.
The ink cartridge for the pen is small. For casual writing, this should last a good 3-4 weeks but for use as a primary writing instrument, I doubt this would last 2 weeks. Refill cartridges are usually available at the same store you bought you pen.
The cartridge is made of plastic, obviously cheap and not so beautiful to look at.
Nokia Lumia 630. I want one. Read more and you'll fall in love too. Visit madhousemnl.com/magazine #TECHROOM
