New moons are the opening to the lunar cycle. This is a time for a fresh start and new opportunities. This is a great time to start planning what you want for this lunar cycle. Manifesting is a big part for the new moon, any new moon to be honest.
With the Leo New Moon happening today (7/28/2022) the vibe will be extra exaggerated as you plan your next steps. Because the Leo is ruled by the sun, they like to shine bright and seem to have never ending energy. This is the perfect time to embrace your inner child. You remember all those crazy things you were into as a kid? Well, they weren’t that crazy so pick one and run with it. This is a time to find joy in the fun things that you loved as a kid. This is the perfect time to believe in yourself and remember who you are.
Now each zodiac sign will be affected differently with the Leo new moon and this is how…
Aries: It’s your opportunity to play, dance, sing, draw, sculpt, entertain, write, flirt, or whatever activity you loved doing as a child - and still want to do now. This New Moon is an invitation to expand how you define yourself. Channel that energy into a hobby or passion you’ve always desired and then fuse that intention as a core part of your identity moving forward.
Taurus: Think about laying the groundwork for feeling at peace in your physical spaces - that includes your body. Your house is just four walls and a roof, but it’s the energy that you infuse into it that makes it a home.
Gemini: You have cosmic permission to take up space - your story matters. Channel your thoughts into creative expression - and then share it out into the world. Now it is time for the ritual!
New moon rituals are one of my favorites because they can be so massive or so simple. This one we are going for simple so let’s dive in!
A crystal of your choosing (something that is close to you or something that you feel you need to work on like carnelian which is confidence.)
Now you are going to burn your sage or incent to cleanse the jar and yourself. Once you have done that you are going to hold the jar in your hands and imagine your energy going into the jar. This is important because this is the jar you are using to manifest your life with! Once you feel the jar is all good and filled with your energy you will take the thyme and add it into the jar for more time in your life. Then the rosemary for protecting yourself and your manifestations. The cinnamon is to bring in success. Once those are in there just how you like you are going to take the paper or sicky notes and write down everything you want to manifest! This is important you must be clear on what you want like super clear as if you were talking to google. After that you can close the jar. You won’t be sealing it because you’ll have to get into it for the full moon ritual! I like to take mine and put it on my alter or outside to soak up the new moon energy!
