Hi Katie ! I am a french student and i am starting school tomorrow. I'll be studying informatic and computer sciences and ik it's a very male domain.. Even thought i am "feminist" and i support women who want to work/ do something which May look bit boy-ish, i cant help but being nervous.. The idea of being the only girl or being With tons of boys give me anxiety...Especially bc i am not crazy about computers, i am not a geek or a pro. Any advices ? Ily

...Wait. Question. Why are you going into computer science if you’re not crazy about computers...? That’s literally all you’ll be dealing with!! lol.

If this is something you truly want to pursue then go for it. Yes, men will always judge you, especially in that field, so it’s something you’ll unfortunately have to get used to. But show them that you’re just as, if not more, capable of producing great work. Good luck! :)

What are your thoughts about the new Youtube rules about monetization ? I heard that many disagreed ( the hashtag youtubeisoverparty) . Btw i am french so if there are any mistakes, i am sorry ^^' i love your videos !!

Well, I haven’t done much research on it, but from what I’ve gathered they’re actually not new rules. They just seem to be implemented more now than before. I do think it’s completely idiotic for YouTube to seemingly think that suddenly censoring so many of their top influencers wouldn’t be a problem.

However I don’t make or watch the types of videos this affects, so I don’t have a lot to say about it.

Would you ever write a book?

When I was in college that was one of my life goals. I don’t feel quite as strongly about it as I used to, but yes, one day I hope to. I doubt I’d get it published, but I think it’d be a nice thing to leave behind.

What are your hobbies?

YouTube? Can I even consider that a hobby at this point? lol. I love to read. And obviously I love binge-watching tv shows.

I liked AJ when her character was the liaison. It was a good dynamic that the show lost, and "hardening" up her character without justification was annoying. Paget was a sad loss, she and Gubler were such standout characters when I watched the show. I don't know Moore's reason for leaving, since that was long after I finished watching the show, but I can't imagine the show without him to be honest and now without Gibson? I understand your need to keep watching though I'm like that with Grey's.

I liked JJ when she was liaison as well. Not sure what you mean by justification, but if you had stuck around, they definitely gave an explanation as to what she went through the year she was gone. That’s what I was referring to yesterday when I said they were overcompensating. Her storyline kind of took over for a while there, which wasn’t my favorite, but I get why they did it.

Shemar says he left because he wants to pursue other things career-wise, but also wants to settle down and possibly start a family like his character. He has said he’d love to come back though since they didn’t kill him off.

I’ve loved almost everyone who’s been on the team, but it will definitely be weird to have such different dynamics this season. Not sure what to expect.

I used to be so into Grey’s! But they kept killing people off and I couldn’t take it anymore. Guess we’re just switched lol!

what is the best thing you've done this summer?

This summer has been really rough, but my trip up to Mammoth last week was probably the best thing.

I was an avid Criminal Minds fan until they made JJ part of the team because I really didn't like what they were doing with her character but I was curious and decided to look into where the series has been and wow. I really think they should put the show to rest. Paget Brewster and Shemar Moore left the show and apparently Thomas Gibson has been fired from the show?! I think they should find a way to lay the show to rest... since you've been keeping up with it more actively, what do you think?

Ah, I agree on the JJ thing. I love JJ, but it was very evident that they were overcompensating due to their dumbass mistake of firing AJ. However, now that they’re past that I’ve been enjoying her place on the team.

Paget is coming back for multiple episodes this season and she’s made multiple appearances since she left, which I’ve always really enjoyed.

I understand Shemar’s reasons for leaving even though I really wish he hadn’t. Now that Thomas has been fired (UGH DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED), it would have been ideal for Morgan to step in as unit chief again. Now I’m not sure what they’re going to do. Honestly, JJ could be the next unit chief.

I’ll keep watching as long as it runs because CM is my favorite show, but I don’t really have high hopes for a season 13. :\

Hey Katie! This is such a weird/random question but on a typical day, what do you eat? Like for breakfast, lunch and dinner?

That’s actually not as weird/random as you may think as I get that question all the time lol. But what I eat changes literally every single day, so I have no real way of answering that, sorry!

Haha, that’s not the first time I’ve heard that. I just don’t want them and I don’t think it’s fair to bring a child into the world if you don’t want them. I’ve worked with/cared for kids of all ages, backgrounds, temperaments, etc. over the past 7-8 years. Let’s just say some of them have really solidified my stance on this lol.

Since we are on the dating topic: I am a 24 year old human who has literally no dating experience. I know a woman's worth isn't based off of the number of people she hasn't dated or the fact that she has lived for two decades and hasn't even kissed a boy buuuuut it feels kinda crapy. How do people even date? How does that shit work? lol.

I totally get it. I had boyfriends in high school, but haven’t dated much in my adult life. People are always asking why I don’t have a boyfriend or why some guy hasn’t snatched me up yet. ugh no. I HATE dating. It’s so awkward and feels so fake. idk. I’m just not into it. I’m very content being alone lol.

I don’t know if you like meeting new people, but if you want to put yourself out there, dating apps are super popular... But maybe avoid Tinder lol.
