(Her expression is kind of confused before her lips part.) Oh, you mean Stiles. Yes well, Stiles wasn’t quite as pleased with the separation either, I think. 

(Her fingers flip lightly through the booklets of colleges that allow early admission) I’m sorry if it seems as though I’m not giving you my full attention— I’m a little distracted now, trying to get early admission into one of the many schools of my dreams.

I know. I’ll deal with it. [He reaches up and places his hand over Deucalion’s.] I uh…sorry for dragging you to this parent teacher meeting. [He clears his throat as he removes Deucalion’s hand from his throat.]
