genie where are the character reset codes for the game of life
Unfortunately, Game Genies were discontinued before we could work out cheat codes for Life. However! Some people believe you can start a new game with a fresh character once you complete your first playthrough. Nobody knows for sure; it is a mystery.
Where have you been my Genie? I wish to know if it would be smart to buy a vita or a 3ds at this current time.
Sorry I haven’t been posting much lately. I still check Tumblr every day, but I try not to post a lot unless I think I have something particularly good to share.
As for your wish: I don’t think the PS Vita’s library is strong enough now to warrant a purchase. I’ve heard good things about Gravity Rush, and Soul Sacrifice looks cool, but I’d suggest waiting for more. The 3DS has the sequel to 999, a new Fire Emblem game, and will eventually be getting a new Phoenix Wright game, a new set of Pokemon games and MAYBE Monster Hunter 4 depending on what kind of mood Capcom’s in. If those interest you, perhaps look into a 3DS. I’d save my money for now, but I can understand the appeal.
LET 'ER RIP.

Give me the most sick-nasty wickedly ill games that make you feel like a god who just plows through enemies, anything where you feel powerful or you have a good amount of graphical violence is a plus as well!
METAL GEAR RISING. But seriously, pretty much anything by Platinum Games / Clover Studio fits what you’re asking for to a T. The Devil May Cry and Ninja Gaiden games are definite picks too. (Not the new Devil May Cry, though. Never buy that under any circumstances.) These games are pretty much all more difficult than average, but you’ll feel like an unstoppable war god once you start doing well with them.
Prototype also does a pretty solid job of making you feel extremely powerful, while being a little more forgiving than my first set of suggestions in terms of difficulty. Not a big fan of them myself, but the Dynasty Warriors series and its millions of spinoffs thrives on the concept of plowing through enemies, and there’s a second Fist of the North Star themed one coming out soon that’d meet your desire for graphic violence. Heard it’s fixing a lot of the problems Ken’s Rage 1 had.
One more for the road: Doom’s basically the all-time classic when it comes to violently plowing through hordes of enemies. There’s a mod for it that, to my understanding, is still being worked on today. It’s called “Brutal Doom” and it makes the base game even crazier. It’s compatible with Doom AND Doom II. (Thinking about it, fast paced old-school shooters in general tend to fit the bill here.)
Just finished Metal Gear Rising. Good lord, it was incredible. Combat felt very fluid, and blade mode is great fun once you get the hang of it. The game isn't 2/3 movie like other Metal Gear titles, but they included loads of possible codec calls for those who enjoy the character interaction in Metal Gear games. My only real complaints are that the camera doesn't always do what you want, and I wish the boss weapons had more combo variety, but neither of those things were nearly enough to hamper my enjoyment. Definitely lived up to the hype, in my mind.

BEST TACTICAL GAMES. WHAT ARE THEY? ALSO WHAT DOES THE GAME GENIE'S LAMP EVEN LOOK LIKE. WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE BEVERAGE? WHAT DOES THIS GENIE EVEN LOOK LIKE? HE/SHE SOUNDS ASIAN.
FINAL FANTASY TACTICS, TACTICS OGRE AND HYBRID HEAVEN ARE MY FAVORITE TACTICAL GAMES.
THIS IS THE GAME GENIE'S LAMP. THE GENIE IS PICTURED ON THE FRONT:
MY FAVORITE BEVERAGE IS EITHER ROOT BEER OR COFFEE, BUT IT IS ALSO IMPORTANT TO DRINK PLENTY OF WATER.

Okami, Bayonetta, and DmC give you a sense of power through CRAZY or god-powers. Anything by Platinum makes you feel super strong.
I'd give all of these an emphatic recommendation to action game fans in general. For DMC, I'd advise people to overlook DMC 2 and the new reboot, but 3 and 4 are fantastic and 1 is a classic.

This is a solid recommendation too.

psi-ops is amazing, still go back and play it once in a while. Ive had my friends copy for 5 years.
Yeah, it's definitely one of those games that managed to hold up over the years. It's a real shame they never got to make a sequel, though.

City of Heroes, rest in peace. ;_;7
For games that you can actually still play, there's Prototype, Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, Spider-man 2. All pretty good; Prototype gave you a bunch of mutation-based powers, the other two speak for themselves, haha. Crysis doesn't give you natural super powers, but your suit can grant you herculean strength and speed, pretty much feels like having powers. I've got two older suggestions too; Psi-Ops, which gave you a selection of awesome psychic powers, and Breakdown, which gradually gave you more and more supernatural hand-to-hand skills over the course of the game. (I'd also recommend Breakdown to anybody interested in a first person martial arts game. Only problem is that it's for the original Xbox and the 360's backwards compatibility doesn't fully support it.)
As for online games, there's still Champions Online and DC Universe Online, but I don't really feel like they can hold a candle to what City of Heroes used to offer. Still might be worth a look if you want to play as someone with super powers, though!
Videogames are for autistic man-children that are afraid of life's challenges. To escape in a virtual reality at an early age will cause the soon to be teen/adult to become more likely to shoot up a school or be a loser that plays card games, watches anime and has the wrong perception of women and relationships. Doomed to waste their lives looking at a childish form of entertainment for years.
What are your opinions on modern fps games? What do you think is happening to the quality of video games overall? Is it dying?
I'm not a big fan of the stranglehold Call of Duty has on the market, with its yearly releases and fifteen dollar map packs, but I don't think that's enough to kill off the genre. Borderlands 2 managed to be great fun despite having some problems of its own, Crysis and FEAR 1 both proved to be solid entries to the genre as well, (though I can't speak for their sequels; haven't played them.) Far Cry 2 had one of the best flamethrowers I've ever seen in a shooter, and Serious Sam 3 kept a fast pace and let you carry around as many weapons as you wanted, like older FPS games. I'd be lying if I said there weren't a lot of disappointments too, but the gems are definitely out there; you just need to know where to look.
As for the quality of video games overall, I'd say the same thing. You've got a lot of publishers out there trying to "appeal to a wider audience," and with the sorts of budgets involved in pushing out a triple A game, nobody's really willing to take a risk. Even so, there are still good games being made. Dark Souls, Sleeping Dogs, any number of indie games, etc.
Having said all that, I just really hope Doom 4 doesn't end up being garbage.
