How about how the goose boys act like when you tell them your pregnant, during pregnancy and during labor?
ooough..oh anon i love this.. domestic fluff x rygos holds such a special place in my heart..
Goose boys: Ryland Grace, Lars Lindstrom, Henry Letham, Holland March.. if you want me to expand with more goose boys do say, I'm so willing!!
͙͘͡★ Ryland would definitely be a ball of panicked ecstatic joy, he loves working with kids already and the fact that he'll have one himself?? He's crying, sobbing and hugging you close. During the pregnancy he'll absolutely want to take care of everything, you wanna cook? Nope, he won't let you. Clean? Do any kind of chore?? I fear he won't even let you get up off the couch without him helping you up. Not only that, he'd buy books and read up online about parenting, how to help with labor, any foods that'll help, etc. I'd like to think when he breaks the news to his classroom (ofc he would, he's proud!) they'd so be immediately involved with wanting to give name recommendations or baby shower ideas, some might even send gifts (either they saved up some of their own money or they told their parents and convinced them- didn't take long, Ryland is an amazing teacher, ofc they'd want to help!). When it's time for labor he'd never leave you alone for a moment, he'll make sure your every-need is met in that hospital and so-help whoever tries to get in his way. He'll hold your hand, soothe you, stroke your hair, and shut up if you tell him too (he knows you don't mean it, he's more worried about you!). Oh and once baby is born and in their hospital basket (forgot the actual name for it) you bet he's pampering you. Labor gift? He got you all of your favorite comfort items and treats, he's brushing your hair, helping you bathe. Both you and baby are getting the special treatment!! You two are his world. Plus I totally think the room would be full of congratulation cards from his class.
͙͘͡★ Lars is in shock. You're gonna need to give him a minute or 30 for him to full collect himself. He's also crying, but he's happy! He's full of joy, always wanting to start his own family (imo)..but he's also so scared, especially considering the fact his mom passed away giving birth to him.. he gets much more protective of you, almost immediately soon after you tell him the news. Similarly to Ryland, but like.. times ten, he doesn't let you lift a single finger throughout the whole pregnancy, he doesn't like it when you go out by yourself either. He's stuck like glue to your side!! The only person I could see him genuinely even touching your bump and helping you out besides him and Dagmar is Karin! She's a mom herself and knows her way around pregnancy, so any little question either of you have (more so any questions that Lars has) Karin is the first person to go to! Once the due date strolls around he's a big mess, it's Karin the one keeping him in check, but he's also trying so hard for you and the baby. He's insanely overwhelmed with everything, incredibly scared of losing you or baby.. but he pushes through and is there for you, right by your side. Once baby is here? He's crying all over again, he's feeling so much all at once he doesn't even know what to say. The baby being actually here and in his arms is just so much. I don't think he could stop crying. He's so proud of you, so proud of the baby. He is so gentle with the aftercare needed too. Especially with you, he practically treats you like you're made of glass. Karin also definitely helps out too, but she lets Lars do most of it. Many people from the town send in so many congratulation cards and flowers it's practically overflowing the room.
͙͘͡★ Henry is dumbfounded honestly. At first you think he's mad or something of the sort, he quickly reassures you he's not. He's not sure he'll be a good father, a good role model. He's scared, but he never admits it. After a while he gets around to the idea that this is actually happening, he starts changing. No more smoking, barely any negative self talk (at least verbally), and more talks with his psychiatrist and psychologist. It's not that he's only getting better just for the baby, but he's doing it for you too. You're his everything, his muse, and he's fully realizing now just how much he wants to truly live for you. Especially now that you two are gonna be a family. For the next nine months he's constantly drawing/painting you, how your baby bump grows, how you seem to glow more every day. He gets countless of books on art for the baby, either to read or for coloring. Painting the baby's room? His greatest masterpiece, it has to be perfect. His baby deserves nothing less. I think he'd like reading poetry to the baby bump, his hands constantly on it. Like Lars, the only person who's allowed to touch the bump is him. No one else. He will get angry and protective. When you're in the hospital, it's moments like these where he wishes he could ask his mom or his dad what to do, what to expect, how to act- anything. Is he insanely nervous? Absolutely, but he's not letting it show, he's trying to keep a strong appearance for you. Once he sees the baby in your arms, you're both safe, that's when he breaks and starts sobbing. He holds you both in his arms like he's afraid of it disappearing. But he knows this is real, you're real. And you're a family now. His world and reason to life just got a whole lot bigger.
͙͘͡★ Holland..absolutely freaks the hell out at first. You're trying to calm him down, it takes about 15-30 minutes. After that he's crying, and it takes another 15-30 for him to pull himself together. Then you both break the news to Holly- boy is she a mix of emotions. She goes from shocked, to a little angry, to nervous, and finally she lands on being happy and excited about having a sibling. The next few months are a roller coaster. Holland really decides to finally get his shit together, his drinking and smoking decrease, and boy is Holly happy. You are too. Healy is absolutely preparing himself to be an amazing uncle, he totally will be. (Totally not because he's afraid of Holland fully losing his shit with a second kid, he knows you'd keep him in check too.) Holland and Holly might decide to go on a total shopping spree with you, you practically buy out the whole mall. Holly's reading books on how to be a big sister. Holland is trying to remember how the hell he managed with Holly first time around, he'd just opt to baby-proof the whole entire house. Absolutely everything, it's kinda insane. Once your water breaks and you go into labor all hell breaks loose. Holland is running red lights with Healy right behind, Holly is helping you by holding your hand. You all get to the hospital and Holly's screaming because she can't get through (it's fine Healy's gonna sneak her in anyways.) Holland is with you holding your hand and trying his best to be supportive but he's screaming along with you, nurse's have to tell him to calm down, he's.. having none of it. After the chaos finally dies down, he's also crying- (almost every goose boy is a crier) he's happy, he says you're beautiful, to both of you. Once Healy and Holly are in there too it's like the whole family is complete.
pssst... i totally think that all goose boys would be girl dads..they just are i don't make the rules
