[[I don't know how to write this to both effectively express my frustration and depression with what has happened in the last year while simultaneously eloquently apologize for my sheer lack of any activity here. I'm not sure if anybody is even still following me but as much as I don't want to admit it to myself, Shepard's probably done. I though maybe Andromeda (which of course I'm playing) would reignite my interest but real life has left me reeling trying to deal with stuff I don't want to bore anybody with so needless to say it failed. I'm sorry. Mass Effect RP has been such a fun community (as well as people who weren't in MERP but still wrote with me anyway) and it was a bright part of my life for the 3ish years I was active on and off. side effects of being numb due to mental illness:

not crying for weeks and weeks on end until one day, you’re breaking down over something that isn’t actually worth getting upset about

not being able to tell if your feelings for people are platonic or romantic or if you’re just lonely

instead of caring too much, you don’t care at all about anything

not being able to process anything going on in your life and when you try, your brain stalls out

losing your train of thought every five seconds, so when you try to have a conversation, you have to pause and remember what you were trying to say
