([I  guess  this  had  to  happen.])

([  I  made  this  blog  as  a  way  of  well,  trying  to  rp  with  another  character.   one  that  i  had  wanted  to  rp  with  for  a  long  time])

([  But  it  didn’t  work  out ,   i  lost  the  willingness  to  do  the  profile  pic,  as  the  digital  drawing  software i  used   effed  up  the  colour mixing   and  well... ])

([  I  suddenly  found  i  lacked  the  confidence  to  look  for  other  rp  partners  who  were  willing  to  rp  with  this  side blog.])

All throughout the craft, alarms sounded because of the target locks going on. The commander’s voice shouted orders to the tactical center. “Raise kinetic shields! Prepare for an attack!”

Meanwhile, the comms station tried again to reason with the unknown vessel. “We are reading multiple target locks. If you can read us, stand down. Repeat. Stand. Down.”

The eldar seemed only mildly surprised with the power of the weapon. But the slaneshi demons had been blown to bits by the human weapons. The eldar guardian scribes and their escort moved in to get the relic and secure it safely.“keep your squads back, these are not normal foes, let the scribes secure the chaos relic, then we should be fine”

Lieutenant Douglas made his way to the front of the group, observing the damage the explosives had done. The walls were charred and slightly melted. Loose attachments had been blown off the walls and lay scattered on the floor.

“Understood. We will stay put. What the hell were those things, anyways?”

The eldar leader sighed “demons belonging to she who thirsts, the one who destroyed our empire and hunts us.. Thirsting for our souls”. As he said this the scribes moved in and began to secure the relic. On of the eldar retrieved the soul stones from their dead squad mates as another one had died from their wounds.

“But if she is hunting you, then what business did you have to bring this upon us as well? We may have been unknowingly carrying this…this relic, but it would not have affected us if you hadn’t shown up. Am I correct, or is there some missing information I don’t have?”

The eldar leader laughs “she cares not who’s souls she snares ” he makes a gesture of warding “it would have effected all of you.. Your souls may not give her as much delight as eldar souls, but they would still have been taken.”

“Oh. That’s definitely..troubling. So now that this relic is taken care of and the demons are dead, what is to happen next?” The Lieutenant eyed the elder leader suspiciously.

The eldar leader took of his helmet and smiled “we leave you and take this relic to the black library, were it will remain secured for the rest of eternity, under the watch of he laughing god’s harlequins ”. He then sighed “then I most honour the fallen and return their soul stones to their craftworld.” He signalled his squads to begin to depart. “

The Lieutenant took a breath and spoke as he followed the eldar back to the airlock. “I don’t understand what half of what you’re saying actually is, but I get the general idea. It’s good that you honor your dead like that. So your work is done here?”

The crew were beginning to go back to their original positions because the emergency was over.

The eldar squad leader took possession of the bag containing the dead’s soul stones. “I will return to my ship and inform my captain that the relic is secure, I imagine he will then let your ship depart”. The eldar squad leader made his way into the airlock as did the other squads

“That is good to hear.” His voice didn’t reveal it, but the Lieutenant was actually greatly relieved that the ship would most likely not be destroyed.

They arrived at the airlock, and the Lieutenant stood by at a control panel that would seal doors around the airlock, since the airlock’s doors had been broken by the eldar’s entrance. “Well this is it. I suppose it was good that you came after all.”

The eldar leader nodded, putting his helmet back on. "I guess so.." he moved to the airlock door with the other eldar.

Soon after that, they would leave, the eldar vessel pulling alongside as they re embarked.

A strange masked figure sits nearby. "I was told you were thread walking again." " I received your message, though i ran through her a while ago." The masked figure looked around, he was not that tall and was garbed in a rather flamboyant harlequins outfit ( @thelaughingharlequin )

“I saw the chase. She seemed pretty mad. As for ‘thread walking’ I guess I was doing something along the lines of that recently. So what was going on with Slaanesh? Is there a war now?”

“She who thirsts believes  that  cutting my thread will bring about the Rhana Dandra quicker than it would come if i  was still living.”he looked to be slightly amused. “There has always been a war ,  ever since the fall of all but two of the eldar gods, well  three if you count....err... never mind.”

The harlequin grew  to  be rather tall, “Ahhhh I do like it in this form,  i use my... more  eldar like one for interacting with visitors....mortal ones.”

The eldar outside the crew quarters all recoiled,   people in the vicinity would likely get a sudden migraine.

The eldar all backed off from the door and raised their weapons as a slaneshii demon began to tear through the door.

“DEMON!” one of the eldar shouted  and the eldar squad opened fire at the demon.

Meanwhile ,   the squad in engineering would grab their weapons and run in the direction of the crew quarters  after a short moment of holding their heads in pained disorientation as the eldar leading the squad near the crew quarters psychically sent a fearful shout to the eldar on the bridge and the engineering section and the bridge  +Its possessing the humans!+.

as the ran past one of them shouted “Arm yourselves!” The eldar on the bridge began to   head for the crew quarters. 

The leader looked at the lieutenant and said “A chaos relic is on board your ship, tell your crew to arm themselves.”

The man immediately fell to the ground, clutching his head, from the pain he felt there. He managed to get up and sound the alarm from a control panel just before the Lieutenant was about to do so. Some of the guards from engineering were able to keep up with the eldar heading to the crew’s quarters.

Other parties of guards came from various places around the ship, and once they got there, several thick bulkhead doors started to slowly close, sealing off the main paths to that section of the ship.

The guards were led by Lieutenant Douglas to make sure they shot the right things. All were armed with assault rifles, which they had at the ready.

The main hangar bay doors opened in case a sudden evacuation was needed. The commander’s voice came over the intercom. “Attention all personnel, there is a threat on board. Prepare to engage.”

While the guards were moving in the fight was beginning to go down hill for the eldar. They were being forced into a fighting retreat as two other demons pulled their way through the destroyed door. One of the eldar squad stepped in the way of an attack meant for a guardian scribe and ended up being flung down the corridor , impacting a wall near where the eldar from engineering and the guards that were with them were. There was a loud crunch as he hit he wall and his spirit stone flared and began to glow. The eldar from engineering rounded the corner and joined the firefight, shooting at the demons, meanwhile the squad from the bridge were accompanying the lieutenant as he and his guards made their way to the crew quarters.

On the way, the Lieutenant had made his way close to the leader of the bridge squad. He spoke, half to himself, half to the eldar next to him. “Christ. This is not a good position to be in. These halls are too narrow for us to make our entire force effective. This is a bottleneck situation.”

One of the men in the front of their group yelled to the eldar that were being attacked. “Get behind us. Now!” It seemed that a few of the guards in their force were readying large explosive weapons.

The eldar leader next to him repeated what the guard said but in the melodic language of the eldar. They withdrew behind the guards in that force , the demons close behind them, the eldar from engineering also withdrew.

as the ran past one of them shouted “Arm yourselves!” The eldar on the bridge began to   head for the crew quarters. 

The leader looked at the lieutenant and said “A chaos relic is on board your ship, tell your crew to arm themselves.”

The eldar vessel replies "Mon-keigh intruder , our empire existed before your kind even evolved!" The eldar shadow class battleship turns and accelerates , getting behind the carrier, their tactical station would likely light up with target lock warnings. Yet the holofields would be distorting their scanners , preventing them from getting a clear scan. @thelaughingharlequin

All throughout the craft, alarms sounded because of the target locks going on. The commander’s voice shouted orders to the tactical center. “Raise kinetic shields! Prepare for an attack!”

Meanwhile, the comms station tried again to reason with the unknown vessel. “We are reading multiple target locks. If you can read us, stand down. Repeat. Stand. Down.”

One of the eldar stared at him..  “Your not Imperials…”

The other turned and said something in  an dialect of the eldar speech, it sounded vaguely melodic.

He received a reply then turned back to the human and said. “I am Squad leader Auralien,  I lead this squad. “   

Meanwhile ,  in engineering,   the eldar  delivered a compromise,   they asked the guards to surrender their weapons,  they would be allowed to stay if they did.

The third Eldar squad  had reached the crew quarters.

The Lieutenant tilted his head at the eldar’s first statement. “I beg your pardon? What’s this about ‘Imperials?’”

Some of the guards agreed to the compromise and stowed their weapons, while others decided it best to leave the room and stay close by, but hang on to their guns.

A lone operative was walking the halls in the crew’s quarters, his fingers rapping on the walls. When he saw the squad arrive, he stopped walking and looked at them.

The squad member who had said that looked an one of the others  before simply saying  “If you want ,  ill send over some data we have on them ,  later”

Meanwhile ,  in the engineering section,   the Eldar began to make sure that the carriers weapons and shields were actually deactivated.

And in the crew quarters ,  the eldar squad stopped outside a door.  “Open up  chaos worshiper ,  and your death will be a swift one.”  The reply they got back was the sound of a weapon being readied.
