From Sketchbook to Your Printer: The Making of Our Garden Series 🌸

Ever wonder how a blank screen becomes a tool for learning? 💻🎨 Here is a little peek into my 'studio' (aka the corner of my living room covered in coffee mugs and sketches!).

Every printable at My Store starts with a hand-drawn sketch. I’m currently working on our 'Garden Life' math set. I spent my morning researching local butterflies and ladybugs because I want the illustrations to be as scientifically accurate as they are cute!

I’m a firm believer that the aesthetics of learning matter. When a worksheet is beautiful, kids are more likely to engage with it. After I finish the digital watercolors, I test-print every single page to make sure the colors pop and the margins are perfect for little hands to hold.

We’ve been struggling with 'quiet time' lately. You know how it is—that hour of the afternoon where everyone is a little bit cranky and the screen time itch starts to set in. I realized he didn’t need more toys; he needed a mission.

I designed these printables because I wanted something that felt like a game but secretly taught him his phonics. Seeing his face light up when he finished the page and asked, 'Can I do the moon one next?' made my mama heart melt. Education doesn’t have to be a chore; it can be an adventure you go on together at the dining table.
