I close my eyes and feel nameless emotions, those feelings we were never taught to label, of which we know only the sensations they stir within us, like whispers in the soul. Like a small caterpillar, unaware that soon it will become a butterfly and fly, I move through doubts and unspoken, multiple answers. Yet, in this silence, my personal experience grows. They are the small fears that brush against me, the unexpected smiles, the endless moments when I feel lost in a dark tunnel. But it is precisely there, among unidentified emotions and the fear that overwhelms me, that I find a quiet courage of unknown origin, a breath of rebirth that pushes me forward. And when I think hope has run dry, often, unexpectedly, everything turns out for the best. @thelibraryofforgottendreams for more
To love, after pain, is an act of bravery. When trust has been broken too many times in friendships that crumbled like sand through fingers, in family ties that left silence wounds, the heart learns to build walls. You grow used the silence, to the solitude chosen as shelter, to the thought that maybe it's no longer worth opening up.
But then comes a simple gesture, a kind glance, a steady presence that doesn't demand, but stays. And something inside begins to melt. Because, no matter how much we try to convince ourselves otherwise, we all need to feel loved. Loved without conditions, without games, without burdens. Loved in the truth of who we are, with our shadows and our tenderness.
Healthy love doesn't shout, doesn't demand. Healthy love welcomes, listens, heals. And in its embrace, finally we can allow ourselves to breathe. Those who dare to love after being broken have already won twice.
Sometimes, it feels like the days repeat endlessly. Wake up, work, come home and start all over again. The seasons pass almost unnoticed, one after the other, like pages in a book no one wants to read anymore. In the silence go this monotony, a deep desire arises: to live truly as one wants. Not by imposed rules, not chasing unattainable ideals, but by listening to oneself.
I dream of a simple life, immersed in nature. A garden growing under the sun, hands dirty with soil and a heart full of peace. Living off the fruits of one's own labor, savoring time as it passes slowly, far from the artificial rhythms of modern society. No more rushing, no more masks. Only what is true, essential. Those who find peace in simplicity have discovered life's true luxury.
