The dragon shook his head to the offer. No, he had no need for a welcome comity, what was the point, it wasn’t his first time in here, and he has been in the cells for so long that this was more like home at this point.
Carlton snorted at the comment that he had gotten used to the life outside. For most of his life, all he knew was the outside, so much so, that the cells had become the new thing of his life. But in one thing the angel was right, Carlton was missing something, he was missing his cigars. Maybe that was what was making him look so uneasy. “No, not this time…”
“Well, it wasn’t the right fit… She is better without me and me without her...“ it was simply that. “And you… how have you been?“

“I’ve been here as I usually am. It’s been fairly quiet, there have been some recent claims I suppose. But the sun is starting to come out more often, some have been really looking forward to that after such a harsh winter.” and he knew that it was boring weather talk, but when you spend most of your days locked up, there was only so much left to discuss. “you’ll get out of here again soon, don’t worry.”
