On the right- Taylor Sullivan, someone who’s going to hurt herself if she keeps putting on pointe shoes and acting like she’s a professional ballerina. She can’t even get properly over her box (google for an explanation) , and her ribbons are tied incorrectly. Anyone with any professional ballet training would immediately point this out to you. Taylor Sullivan is Not a Ballerina

The penultimate post- Taylor’s last ditch attempt to convince Facebook land she was a professional ballerina with the Colorado Ballet and was retiring at the ripe old of age 19/20. Fun fact: the average professional ballerina starts their professional career in their later teen years and doesn’t retire until they are around the age of 35 or even later. Although this status is also stolen and copied (almost) ver batem from Emily Dixon, Taylor tried to authenticate her post by mentioning other dancers, but obviously couldn’t tag them because she does not actually know these dancers, nor is she friends with them.

She steals dance photos, she steals hospital photos, and now as we reach the end of this catfish journey, we see that Taylor steals Facebook statuses, word for word. If you’ve followed this blog up until this point and are asking yourself “what if Emily is the one who was stealing from Taylor?” Please consider visiting the Instagram page of Francisco Estévez @candidlycreated where you will find several authentic photos of Emily Dixon. It’s one thing to steal dance photos, but stealing someone’s photos of them in the hospital, and convincing your friends and followers that YOU are in the hospital is disgusting and wrong. Several of Taylor’s supporters have cited that she’s experienced some tough times in the recent past, but this is not an excuse to behave this way. The Denver dance music community should be embarrassed for supporting someone like Taylor.

More stolen photos, more blatant lies. Can you imagine all of the hard work a dancer in the Colorado Ballet has to put in over years and years, just to have some wannabe steal photos and try to pass off all of your accomplishments as their own? It’s insulting and sad.

In this post you can see that she even tried to add authenticity to her post by “tagging” the photographer— but she never really tagged anyone, and would have tagged the incorrect account had she posted this on her Instagram. Another interesting thing to point out is that Taylor stole most of Emily’s posts from Instagram, and posted them to her own Facebook account, where Emily and her fellow Colorado Ballet friends wouldn’t be able to find them. Taylor never posted ballet related pictures/statuses to her Instagram (@forever_snowflake143) because it’s much more difficult to lie when you can’t control who sees your account.

Let’s keep this truth ball rolling, shall we?

Now that you have a basis of what’s going on (see first blog post for introduction), we have more screenshot evidence of Taylor’s lies to share. We have left her original captions in order to show that she wanted the public to assume these were pictures of her, and not that she was simply sharing pictures of a dancer she admired. Thank goodness for screenshots because once Taylor found out that we were catching on to her fabricated stories, she quickly deleted anything and everything Ballet related from her Facebook.

In an effort to remain fair and honest in these posts, it is necessary to inform any readers that Emily Dixon, the subject of all of Taylor’s stolen photos, no longer has an Instagram account. But we can assure you these were authentic posts from her Instagram while she was a member of the Colorado Ballet.

The dictionary defines the word easy as: “achieved without great effort; presenting few difficulties.”

When Taylor Sullivan, member of Team Ez Crew in Colorado and former Beta Nightclub dancer catfished an entire community of people into beleiving she was a professional ballerina with the Colorado Ballet, she probably thought wow, this is easy! All she had to do was find choice photos of an actual professional that could pass as her from obscured angles (from behind, in makeup, far away, blurry) and the praise would pour in from all of her admirers. What she didn’t expect was a group of trained dancers, also on Team Ez at the time, to discover her lies and put all the pieces together. In this first set of photos you will see that Taylor posted a shot of a beautiful grand jeté shot from behind at the Ellie Caukins Opera House. She even confirms in a comment that this is in fact a picture of her. Amazing! Such artistry and beautiful extension. Unfortunately a quick reverse google image search proved that this is not a picture of Taylor, but a picture of veteran Colorado Ballet corps dancer, Emily Dixon (now Emily Dixon Alba), photographed by Francisco Estévez Photography (Instagram handle @candidlycreated), a long time photographer and friend of the Colorado Ballet.

You might be asking, “why release these photos now? Why not when you first discovered these lies?” And the answer is that we (a collective group of dancers who danced with Taylor) wanted to bring this info quietly to the appropriate people, in an effort not to publicly embarrass Taylor. Which we did, but our extensive evidence was ignored, and Taylor remained on the Beta Team with Team Ez, and she never received so much as a slap on the wrist for abhorrently lying about her dance experience through stolen photos. Recently Taylor started spreading rumors about the people who had discovered her lies, saying she was being bullied and treated unfairly for doing absolutely nothing wrong. We share these photos now as proof that we were not making this up to simply have her kicked off Team Ez. Believe what you want, but make sure you understand both sides of the story.
