C.S. Muncy is one of the Lilypad Agency’s most daring shooters, and certainly the most experimental. Check out these amazing portraits from New York’s Holi festival he shot on Lomography turquoise film.
So, so thrilled that Lilypad Agency founding member Jacquelyn Martin’s piece on Tanzanian Albinism, “Tribe of Ghosts,” is going to be on display at the World Bank for the next month. If you’re near Washington, D.C., make sure you go and see it.
A few views of Julia and Tom’s wedding this past Saturday.

Some lovely photos from Kelsey and Ryan’s engagement by Lilypad Agency photographer Andrew Weber, shot yesterday in Toledo, Ohio.
Lilypad Agency photographer C.S. Muncy covering the Baltimore Riots for the Village Voice.
It might look like a scene from a science-fiction, but it’s very much science-fact. Check out this crazy photo for the United States Air Force by Lilypad photographer C.S. Muncy.

A sweet, if slightly dangerous, engagement photo of a county electrical worker and his fiancee, from Lilypad Agency founding photojournalist B.A. Van Sise.
Loving this sexy, romantic shot from Lilypad Agency founding member Andrew Weber.
When it comes to practical advice for protecting your camera equipment (and yourself!) no one is more qualified than U.S. Air Force photographer C.S. Muncy. I’ve come to realize over the last few years that my gear takes a ton of abuse. I’ve come to realize over the last few years that my gear takes a ton of abuse.
B.A. Van Sise, The Lilypad Agency’s founder, was recently featured in the very well known wedding planning & idea company, The Knot. He photographed the exquisite wedding of a lovely couple, Kacie Wilson and Shaun McGuire.
Kacie and Shaun share quite a peculiar story-- in addition to each being bartenders, they’ve known each other since they were both kids (Kacie and Shaun’s cousin were best friends growing up). In 2009, Kacie reached out to Shaun for a bartending position since he owned a bar and get this-- he refused to hire her! Instead, she started working at another local bar which Shuan was a regular at and six years later, the rest is sweet, sweet history.
Their vintage Halloween speakeasy wedding was held at the Newburgh Brewing Co. in Newburgh, New York. They hired a gambling company, Ace and Jack Enterprises, to coordinate rounds of blackjack, roulette, craps, and poker in order to give their wedding even more of an illegal speakeasy thrill. From money with their faces printed on them to grand prizes like flat screen televisions, Kacie and Shaun’s wedding was a complete riot! On top of that, their wedding took place on Halloween so the party didn’t stop until the wee hours of the morning.
After all, a little party never killed nobody!
Myriam and Tania are a transgender couple from the sunny state of California. After Myriam, formerly known as Max, underwent her gender change, the state refused to recognize their union. In defiance, the couple traveled to Vancouver where marriage is currently legal in order to exchange their vows. Interestingly enough, Tania has now changed her gender to male, thus making the relationship heterosexual.
Featured in this photoset are spirited moments from their ceremony all of which were captured by one of our Lilypad Agency photographers, Lung S. Liu.
We’re not launching officially for another ten days, but couldn’t help but share this Buzzfeed feature today on beautiful photography of couples in love taken by one of our founding photographers, Julia Xanthos.
