I’ve got a soft spot.

I need to do some legit soul searching. What am I here for? Not in a divine sense, but in a personal sense. I value many things. Determination, drive, success, serenity, advancement, technology, improvement, health, space, flexibility in multiple uses of the word, charity, passion. All of these things are important to me, but only in a general sense. I envy those who have these things, and I wish for more people to attain them. But what do I want? Out of life, out of each day, out of my interactions with other people. I know I like certain hobbies, certain movies and games and stories and actions. But why? And what good are they? I like playing Dota but what do I get out of it? I like a clean house and organized folders but what am I trying to make more efficient? I pretty much waste any free time I build up by being more time-savvy playing games or doodling without intention. Why do I draw? Do I want to be admired for my skills? Do I want to contribute to a community? Why? Do I seek their approval or become memorable to more people. Is it fun to draw or is it just because drawing is something I’m already kinda good at, so it’s easy? Why do I want to animate? To make something funny for people to laugh at? Do I want to make it my job?

I don’t know. I don’t know a lot of things. It’s pretty depressing sometimes.

I stayed up late last night, throwing together some ink and color for the latest in this series of Redwall/Martin The Warrior character pieces ^___^ Rowanoak is just the loveliest- co-founder of the Rambling Rosehip Players- prop-mistress, cart-puller, seamstress, baritone and formiddable badermomma warrior! She was such a great character from the book, and her friendship with Ballaw was lovely (see above) Fur and Freedooommmm! :D
