某某天, 我的思绪不断, 在凌晨时分, 突然想把心理的话语说出。 近几天, 新闻不断播出 "难民逃生" 的故事, 让人感慨。这些无辜的生命和坚强的灵魂, 为了寻找那渺茫的机会, 宁可冒着生命危险乘船偷渡到别国。一个男人在一夜间失去了妻子和两个儿子, 其中小儿子尸体被冲上海岸的照片引起世界关注。读了那篇新闻, 我感到无助, 伤心。我还记得从中学时就抱有的一个想法 - 长大后若有经济能力, 我想要帮助在贫困国家的小孩, 不管是支柱他们上学, 或是领养孤儿, 我都对这种想法很开放。我永远相信只有富裕的人帮助贫困的人, 世界才会公平, 人们才会从贫困中解脱。。。

It’s the second time listening to Mr Pann Lim’s speech and I’m once again inspired by him. Still awed by how creative, unique and original he is. So glad to have attended his concurrent session last year and to be able to hear him once again for the keynote address this year (probably the only thing that was worth listening this entire day)..

To my 6 lonely women,

Firstly, I really want to thank all of you so so much for the funny-confusing-but-still-very-amazing-surprise. Thank you Cheeyun, Jieyi and the rest of you for planning this surprise! I’m so sorry you guys had to go through so much trouble just to surprise me, from the initial June surprise to this belated one. Sorry to have spoilt your plans so many times (because I’m really bad at reacting to surprises with my always chill and not-so-amazed face, so idk what to do every time I sense your plans hahaha). I know it’s difficult to surprise me cause I’m too sharp:P Still, thank you for liaising with my mummy for this surprise. Anyway, thank you Leanne, Weitong, Xinlei and Jiale for getting the watermelon too. Sharing the watermelon with you guys is so much more meaningful than a cake:) I’m sorry you guys had to go through so much trouble finding my place hahaha but it’s okay, I’ll invite y'all over more often (like maybe CNY next year hahaha).

Nonetheless, I just want to thank you guys 1082173918347138 times for today. It was a really fun time catching up with you people, as always. Haven’t enjoyed myself for so long and I’m really touched by all your sincerity:) Thank you for being the ones who make me truly myself and accepting me for who I am (though I know I have super a lot of flaws like being such a complex person hahaha) But being with you guys make me so much at ease because I have nothing to hide. You guys are truly the best people, giving me strength, love and the most genuine friendship I can ever ask for:) 

Anyway, please have a good rest tonight, especially having to travel a long way home! Can’t wait for our cool taiwan trip and many more crazy things we’d do in the years to come:) 

Oh yes, and thank you for the present, hahah another collection to my bedtime buddies:) I’d definitely think of you guys when I hug it, but it might end up on the floor sometimes because I have ultra pro kicking skills when I sleep.

Some days ago, I bumped into Jacamum at the Tampines mrt interchange. She spotted me first and called out to me. We had a 2-min catch-up before she had to leave. That 2 minutes made my day:) Yesterday while I was studying at the library, someone approached me. And guess what its Angelaaa. Omg miss talking to her during our shangyin days. So I had a short convo with her about her uni choice before she went off with her bf haha:') And that made my day too. This morning, I saw the message which Huimin sent. She had compiled her geog notes for me and even gave me tips on studying geog. And this made me super super super touched!! Sigh. I miss the days with seniors. The days they took care of me (although they still do :'))
