this is my first time writing a fanfic of any kind, so bare with me!! ------------------------------------- "FUCK! GET HIM!" her nerves were completely shot as she had to watch her boyfriend get slammed around and she couldn't do anything but worry about him. *brrr brrr* *brrr brrr* her phone ringing broke the silence in the viewing room. "Aren't you ringside? Why are you calling me?" she said when she answered, knowing that it was Eleanor on the other end. "I FORGOT MY OTHER MEMORY CARD! I NEED YOU TO LOOK IN NY BAG!" Eleanor was anything but calm as she screamed into the phone. Penelope, unwillingly, got up from her seat to look in her friends bag. All the while, keeping one eye planted on the TV screen. "I found it, I'm bringing it out now," she said while Ellie let out a long sigh. Walking out into the arena was so nostalgic that Penelope didn't realize how much until she was finally ringside. Being that close to all the boys in the ring and the adreneline surge from the cheering crowd threw a chill up her spine. Penelope was so mesmerized by all the lights that she didn't see Eleanor running up to her and almost tackling her for that much needed memory card. The sudden squeal from Penelope caused the cameras to turn towards the commotion. "Dean..." Sammy taps his big brother's arm and points towards the big screen. "Is that...? It can't be!" Dean, in complete shock, gets up and starts walking towards her. Penelope gets up and straightens her shirt when she sees the familiar tall figure walking towards her. Before Dean could get anywhere close to catching her, Penelope got herself backstage where she knew that Dean couldn't go. As the door slammed behind her, Penelope screamed internally as she saw his facial expression replaying in her head. The utter look of shock, sadness, and confusion all rolled into one. "What the hell did I do?" Dean was completely flabbergasted as to what had just happened. He was hoping that as soon as she would see his facr, that things would go back to the way they were all those years ago. That night was still etched into his brain, the look on her face when he told her how he felt about her. It was like a punch straight to the guy, especially after the night that they had shared together. He just couldn't wrap his head around the fact that he would never be with her again. Not in the way he wanted, and evidently, not at all. She was his first love and the only girl he has ever loved. ------------------------------------- "Damn it!" Penelope couldn't believe what had just happened. Her heart was still racing when her best friend of 10 years walked into their adjoining hotel room later that night. "What the hell was that out there?!" Ellie said while putting her bag down. She had never seen her best friend so worked up before. "That... was THEE Dean Winchester." "You mean-" "YES!" Penelope just could not let her finish that sentence. "What are you going to do? I doubt he's going to leave without talking to you, now that he knows where you are." Penelope just glared at her. " Do you really have to choose RIGHT NOW to be the smart one?!" "When am I ever not the smart one? ... Seriously though, you have to sort all of this out. He has a right to know. Roxie has a right to know." "You don't think I've spent nights up late crying over this?! You've heard my rants, you've wiped my tears over this!" "Poppy, I'm not trying to negate your own feelings of guilt, not by any means. But now he's here in the same building as you and Roxie. He's not a dumb person, he'll put 2 and 2 together and realize that something is up." "I know, Ellie. I just thought that I'd have more time to explain things to both him and Rox. My brain needs more time to process everything that transpired in the last 3 hours." "Is that my clue to leave? Or do you want me to stay and help you sort everything out?" "I think I need to be alone right now. If I need you, I'll come over. I promise. I love you." Penelope said as she started to get herself ready for bed." "Don't sweat it, babygirl. I love you, too." @moxtiel
