"Now at that time Michael, the great prince who stands
guard over the sons of your people, will arise." [ Daniel 12:1 ]
I was a good son.
I did everything my father asked of me. And still I was
punished, thrown in the same prison as my traitorous
brother. I suffered an unjust fate. I served you, Father,
as you asked me to, and still you hide. Tell me what I
have done wrong. The angels have all fallen from
Heaven and I among them. I will fix it. I will restore
my home to its previous glory. And nothing will stand
in my way. Forgive me father, for I will sin.

" What have you done to

He had only been locked in the cage for
a few short years. And still his sword had
manage to completely corrupt his body, to
rot it into the demon form it was. Worse, a
Knight of Hell. There was no way Michael
could enter the vessel now, not when it was
so infected. He would have to cleanse it...
One way or another.
Jarvis’ first reaction was a wave of panic that flooded up, causing his already pale skin to whiten further, giving him an ashen look. “I. I have no idea what you’re talking about. You must be mistaken.” His body instantly tensed up, ready to bolt if he needed to.
"There is no sense lying to me, anomaly," the angel responded, lifting his head, studying the strange creature in front of him. "I do not know what you are, but I can see that your soul is new and fresh. It does not match the body you are in."

" You aren't human.
At least, not originally. "
Michael had never seen anything quite like the man in front of him. He could see how new this soul was, how it did not match his body, his face. He'd seen all sorts of magic, of course, but creating true life was a very powerful skill; one that most angels could not even accomplish.
