I’ve been creating a lot lately. I’m experimenting with different ideas.
I hope to get a good stock built up of painted wine glasses to sell at craft fairs and on etsy. For Christmas Matt got me my favorite paints and a few plain glasses to start with. I’m in love with how this one turned out!
I’ve decided that I want to start blogging again but I’m not sure where I should start. I’m thinking of making a brand new tumblr from scratch.
Wanting to be an artist; living in cronic pain creating in the moments in between the surges of pain.

So excited about my purchases today! All this for under $30! Now foods oils are very well priced & great quality for anyone interested in essential oils but don't have $40 for a single oil! They however don't suggest you ingest them unlike young living, but still a great product!

Ever go to put your laundry away and find yourself shoving your clothes in the dresser or searching for an empty hanger? It’s probably time to do a closet clean out then! I have always had a problem hording clothing. Working in retail will do that to you. How can you say no with sales and your discount?! Here are my tips for cleaning out your closet. You’re going to want a good amount of time for this because you should be trying on a lot of the clothes unless it’s something you wear a lot, and you know how it fits. Finding some good music to listen to will make this seem less painful as well!
1. Does the item fit you? Have you purchased it hoping to one day get into it? - If it doesn’t fit you should probably get rid of it. I understand having a piece of goal clothing if you’re trying to lose weight which is great because having a physical reminder of your goals really helps. If this is the case, keep one or two items that are your goal ones. Don’t go crazy though! (As you can see in the above photo, this shirt is HUGE and I have kept it thinking I'll do something with it and never have, so byebye!) 2. If you were shopping right now would you buy this? Does it make you do a double take? No? Then goodbye! 3. How many different ways can you make the item work? Is this something you can only wear with one pair of jeans or a specific shoe? Maybe it’s time to really think about getting rid of it. If you have something that’s hard to match you won’t wear it as much. Now if it makes you feel really great then keep it, but if you wear it maybe once a year, peace out floral printed sweater! 4. Is the item of clothing in good condition still? Does it still fit well? Does it need any repairs? Are they ones you’ll actually do? - We’ve all kept that one shirt with a whole in it that one day we are going to repair, well it’s time to say goodbye you still haven’t fixed it! 5. Does the item of clothing make you feel good? If so keep it! If you find yourself readjusting the item over and over then it’s probably time to get rid of it. If you don’t feel good in an item of clothing you need to say goodbye, you’re not going to wear something that makes you feel insecure. 6. Have you ever even worn it? Has it been a long time since you’ve worn it? I’m guilty of buying something because I could get a great deal then finding excuses to never wear it. OR I’ll wear it once and keep saying “oh yeah someday….” Nope Nope Nope, It’s gotta go! 7. Don’t forget when you’re going through your clothes to check out your socks and underwear as well! I’ve had socks that I know have holes but they get into the hamper then washed and tossed back into the dresser to someday throw away, you’ve got to get rid of those. That lace on your underwear falling off? It’s time to get rid of it, and gives you an excuse to get new cute undies! 8. While you’re at it, you should check out your shoes and purses as well. 9. How many cami’s do you really need to have? I feel like having more than 7 might be excessive, but that’s just me. 10. You have how many pairs of jeans?! I counted today, I've got 12...Honestly you don’t need more than a few pairs of jeans. Plain dark wash ones, a good go to; some distressed or boyfriend jeans; and plain black jeans. You can get a few days of wearing out of them before you need to wash them. 11. When you’re going through the drawers of your dresser, make sure you fold everything! This sounds awful, but this way you won’t miss anything crammed into the back of the drawer. Physically handling the clothing will help you decide if the item is worth keeping.
12. Now that you’ve gone through all your clothes and decided what you want to get rid of, it’s time to decide if they are worth trying to sell to someplace like Plato’s closet or are they good for donating or if they there is just no hope for the clothes then toss them. 13. Now that you’re done, get yourself a nice drink! And maybe a new shirt!
My two very full bags from today's clean out! I'm really happy with how much I got rid of. I still have an excessive amount of clothing, but hey I'm not perfect!
Following your passion
Recently I’ve gotten my grove back. I’m so filled with inspiration of late that it’s really making me think. I’m trying to throw myself into my photography more and more to relax from my crazy work life. It’s really working out well. I’m experimenting with different ways to sell my photography including Fine art America and Foap. So far no sales however I’ve only had the accounts for a matter of days. As I use the sites more I will be posting reviews of them.
I’m also painting a LOT and I am really bad but I love it! I’m doing abstract acrylic paintings because I have never been good a realist art aside from photography.
This weekend I embarked on the biggest challenge of my life! I completed the tough mudder! I went from a total bum to total badass in 5 weeks. It wasn't easy but damn it was worth it!
