A 64 year old woman in New York is accusing KFC of advertising Kentucky fraudulent chicken. She’s actually suing them because she said they gave her a small portion and she was expecting exactly what was on the advertisement. As if we always get what they show on TV. She’s asking for 20 million, despite the gift certificates she got when she complained that day. People really have a lot of time on their hands it seems.

Humanity amazes me, it really does. We’re a race of people that started as prey animals and we didn’t like that, so we started hunting our predators. Disease tried to destroy us and our bodies tried to give out, so we found ways to stop that from happening. Gravity tried to keep us down but we set out to defy it because we could. We heal faster than most of life on the planet. We’re more durable and adaptable, we ingest bloody poison as a recreational activity for crying out loud. In the face of incredible adversity, we endure. Imagine how much we could do if we just stopped being arseholes to each other for no bloody reason.

So Halloween is in two weeks and I haven’t a clue as to who to go as. Now I know the most logical costume is Captain America or Darth Vadar, but I think that’s what everyone is expecting me to go as. Now if I went as The Dark Link from Legend of Zelda, that would totally throw people off. Or I can always go as Luke Skywalker, but he’s so predictable also. Then there is John Snow or someone from Dr. Who. Decisions, decisions. Anyway, what are everyone else plans?

Party time is coming aka Halloween. Since everything went so well last year, I’ve decided to throw another gathering at my house. You people are welcome to join in on the partying – just one thing; being dressed up is a rule. Or else you can go play with yourself. Might as well do it properly. So last night my friend came over to do some homework at my place and it quickly became a bad idea. The night started off with us ordering a pizza and procrastinating by watching The Conjuring as we ate. Once we finally finished the movie, we decided to finally do work, but that only lasted about thirty minutes. Somehow, we began listing hot celebrities and ranked them on a fuckable scale. And of course, I had to defend about half of the people I picked because my taste in men is weird as hell. As not-traditionally hot as they may be, I’d still bang them all though honestly.

So I was stocking up on some Starbucks this afternoon, enjoying the nice cold weather, and getting ready to go back home to study when my ex decided he wanted to sit and chat with me for an hour then we ended up getting lunch across the street. Needless to say I didn’t get the studying done I wanted to and now I’m on my second cup of coffee for the day and will more than likely have a third. I’m so ready for winter break and Christmas. Especially Christmas because trees, presents, and decorations. Just waiting for Halloween to come and go.
I love Christmas.

I know all babies do this, but Aurélie gets so amazed by her own reflection in the mirror. The first few times, she was so terrified by it and started crying, but now she’ll usually just look at herself, smile, then giggle. It’s by far the cutest thing ever.
