FOR ALL INTENTS AND PURPOSES, Koko actually wasnβt out to do her civic, slightly illegal duty. Clad in civilian clothes, which summed up to a rather unremarkable pair of ripped denim jeans and a t-shirt that most definitely hadnβt been washed in two or three days, and β¦ purple crocs.
Β Β Β Β Β So when a small spritely woman with bunny ears fell out of the sky in front of her as if it were some kind of omen from the gods themselves, Koko greeted her with a very high pitched shriek that certainly didnβt do her any favors. Body cringing inwards, arms coming up to ward off incoming danger, Koko practically wilted from her full height to a cower. Gray eyes wide, she hopped back unceremoniously, very nearly tripping over herself, to put distance between the two.
Β Β Β Β Β β w-what ?! β
Β Β Β Β Β For a moment, thereβs no recognition. Just an alarmed blank stare under crumpled posture, gray eyes blinking owlishly as she continues to shuffle backwards. Then cognitive functions return, albeit slowly, and Kokoβs alarmΒ increases sevenfold as the realization that one of the top ten heroes is standing only six feet away. β oh shit β¦ β
The bark of laughter that ripped from Rumiβs chest was pure and loud, head falling back for just a moment before her gaze was immediately on Kokomo once more. In all honestly, she truly hadnβt meant to scareΒ the girl, but the reaction to her appearance was definitely an amusing one. She allowed her eyes to look her up and down for a brief moment and her nose scrunched much like that of how her animal counterpartβs would at the sight of the crocs.
Her eyes snapped back up when Kokomo spoke and her grin was right back on her face, fierce and wide. She truly wasnβt aware of how intimidating her grin could be, though she also didnβt careΒ all too much, so.
β You heard me. HeardΒ βbout you and got curious. β
A brow quirked slightly at the realization that fell over the otherβs face and she snorted, head cocking to the side ever so slightly. Sheβd thought her appearance was recognizable enough that it wouldnβt take a moment to realize who she was, though she also could understand to an extent. She didΒ just fall from the sky and give her a heart attack, so it wasnβt tooΒ surprising.
βΒ βOh shitβ, huh? Scared or somethinβ? β
