There is something satisfying about waking up with sore muscles after a crazy night out. There is something satisfying about spending the morning recounting mistakes, laughs, and memories of the night before with your partner in crime. There is something satisfying knowing that your excessive consumption of alcohol didn’t hinder your ability to recount the evening. There something satisfying about laughing with your best friend about the guys you kissed on the dance floor, wrapped in skillfully tied bed sheets and half regretting it. There is something satisfying about sitting with smug smiles and coffee as you each remind each other of who did what that night. There is something satisfying about having people who even at their worst will try their best to care for your safety. There is something satisfying about stumbling down the sidewalk with your equally drunk friends and successfully making it home. There is something satisfying about living life with minimal regrets and making memories that will make the life lessons we will tell our children. And there is something satisfying about this life that always makes it worth living.
