Hey, I really hate doing this...

but I’ve fallen into a really bad situation here…

my greedy, ignorant father has thrown away all of my money from the last month on useless garbage and now I’m dangerously low on food and house supplies, and he’s been running up our electricity bill like crazy.

I don’t like sounding like I’m begging, but anything at this point has to be better than sitting here stressing out and losing sleep over someone else’s mistakes that I have to carry. So… my pride be damned.

I don’t know what else to do except ask outside for a little help, my monthly incomes from commissions can only do so much, and I’m never given enough time by my father to finish them so I can get my to-do list cleared before I take in another wave, so I’ve started more publicly advertising my Ko-fi.

If you want to tip me, even a little bit helps.

Article 13, EU Internet Censorship Law, passes

So, it seems the worst happened today. EU parliament approved Censorship Law, which will require sites to monitor copyrighted material. In a worst case scenario, this means EU countries will be cut off from sites, which host copyrighted material, like Tumblr, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram - and possibly, Patreon and Webtoons. I will keep my eyes open and if cutting happens, I’ll be using VPN/Tunnelbear as much as possible to see if I can avoid this. Everything is still a hassle and no one knows what happens.

In the very, very, very worst case scenario, Demon Sanctuary stops running in 2019, because I lose access to pages where I can host Demon Sanctuary. If that would happen, so that Tunnelbear can’t help either, I hope to make a mailing list where I can share the comic.

Thank you for your support! I’m sad things went this way in EU. I will keep each and everyone of you updated!

- Niu EDIT: Got more info: The last voting / accepting regarding Article 13 will happen in January 2019 so until then we still have time to fight and demand internet to stay free! Some would argue imitation is the greatest form of flattery. However, as flattering that it is that a fan of my art sent me a photo of this dress hyped on being able to wear my artwork it doesn’t soothe the sting of knowing that my art was replicated illegally without my consent or permission by the company / brand #qihanfushi in China.

It was brought to my attention that the store Rene Boetiek Zandvoort is selling them in the Netherlands. Which I’m guessing is just a resale store so I cannot blame them. In fact, if you are in the Netherlands please go visit that store and buy one for you & for me too so I can at least have one of my own artwork dresses hahah they did nothing wrong except resell a dress they had no idea was a stolen design. Below is the a picture of the dress VS. my original artwork which was commissioned by the @palmsnc and a photo of the tags attached to the dress.

Thanks to everyone who helped me track down the manufacture #qihanfushi who stole these designs. Right now I am not sure if I will be pursing legal action as it is expensive and very hard to file international copyright lawsuits.
