Ivys Gif Stamp Tutorial :3

Decided to make my own tutorial on how to make gif stamps!! Lmk if any wording needs to be changed/updated or if you have any questions :)

I will be using this stamp template here, but you can use others! You will just have to figure out different resizing for the gifs if so.

Step 1: Go onto ezgif.com and click resizer

Step 2: upload your gif, and resize it to 93 x 48

Step 3: after clicking Resize image, click add image

Step 4: Extend the canvas size 1 time, then insert the overlay (the stamp template at the start of this post) and click upload image

Step 5: Set the location of the frame to 42 x 22.

Step 6: scroll all the way down, and click create animation. Afterwords, click crop.

Step 7: Click autocrop, then crop image.

Step 8: To save the gif stamp, you can hold on it if you’re on mobile, and I’m assuming you double click if your own computer. You can also click save.

Yayyyy now you have a gif stamp!

Hi, hope you're doing well!i was wondering: When you're only indie and not yet backed up by a studio, how do you find a group of people to work with? How do you make people care enough about your story that they want to contribute to it? How do you know who's trustworthy enough to work with?I really crave to tell stories and I try hard to be a jack of all trades but I obviously can't be good everywhere and I also really crave feedback and a group of people to brainstorm with. Thank you!

I’m very lucky to be in the industry and have creative friends who are willing to help me out but I’ve also had luck just finding other cool people on social media or at conventions or job expos and stuff like that~

Finding like minded people who enjoy the stuff you do I feel like is a great way to find people who will see and enjoy your vision! A lot of the people I’ve worked with are also pokemon or magical girl fans like myself or seek to create stuff for teens and young adults.

As mentioned, most of the folks I worked with are already friends and people I trust. I don’t usually work with people I don’t know even if they offer to help (for several reasons) but sometimes you just meet people you instantly vibe with! Aly Burridge who is my sound designer and captioner sent me a cold email reaching out to ask if she could work on the project. She stated she was a fan of my work, that she went to school for sound, sent her resume and also mentioned that she was queer and wanted to support me as a queer creator. I told her I was interested and we did a small zoom call just for me to meet her! I guess you could consider it an interview but it was more chill than that, but I feel like that helps if you’re worried that someone might be trying to scam you or something. It’s ultimately up to your judgement of character! Aly seemed extremely genuine to me and she turned out to be and im endlessly grateful that she reached out~

Being very communicative yourself is also very important. It’s a two way street!
