Diplocaulus 🌊✨💦 This adorable little prehistoric weirdo is an extinct amphibian called diplocaulus. It had a body very salamander-like, but by far the strangest and most noticeable thing about it was the boomerang-shaped head. They lived from 306-255 million years ago in North America and Africa, but could also be on you! It goes without saying that I absolutely loved getting to tattoo this Gorgosaurus skeleton on the wonderful @dinos.with.dag! 🦖The original is held at the @royaltyrrell museum… one day I will get to go and see it, I swear.
