I drew this for the “I Believe Survivors” button I posted this past weekend. I keep thinking about how cathartic it was to draw but more importantly the solidarity I have seen and experienced as a result. It’s been uplifting, and I’m very grateful for that. ✨Vinayaki✨ from my goddess collage series. Vinayaki is a Hindu goddess associated with wisdom and known as the remover of obstacles. Little is known about the iconography/mythology of Vinayaki, and that mystery inspired me to make this piece. ✨🐘⛰🌾✨
