Availability Update

Hey guys! So I was just snooping around the site of the program I’m using. The program developer is moving the program from Adobe Flash to HTML 5, because Flash will be gone in 2020. So that means it will be accessible to more devices. The developer linked a game and said if you can play it, you can use RPGPlayground on that device. This is the link here: x Lemme know if there are still problem for some people please.

DEMO!

Hey guys. I know I just sent out a message this would be up, but here it is! The demo for my fan game for @therealjacksepticeye and @markiplier !! The full game is a while off (as what you see in this is basically all I have after I lost some progress), but I’m still excited to share this with you and hopefully find more people will to share their stories with me.

Demo? Demo!

Hey guys! Earlier In finished the beginning of my game for jacksepticeye and Markiplier. I will be releasing it in by the end of today (where I live which gives me about 8 hours to make good on my promise). I understand not everyone interested can play the game because of the devices they have, however I will be recording myself playing the game to allow more involvement.

I am very grateful to everyone who has helped out so far. I am looking forward to getting in touch with more people interested in helping. The game is no where near done yet so there is tons of time to get involved! If you cannot contact me on here, you can email me at: [email protected]. If you have already helped me, I still need many of you to contact me. As a result some people are not represented within the demo as of yet or you are but your name is not attached to your sprite, so contact me, too!

IMPORTANT UPDATE

Hey guys. So I’ve had a few set backs this week. I was attempting to save my game on Tuesday and my cat sat on my Chromebook. As a result my game was deleted or saved over with a blank world or something and I lost everything.

This means I have restarted and am waiting for the program developer to let me know if there is anything he can do to help me. I am unsure if my game will be restored but as of yet, nothing. A demo will be released within a week potentially because I have most of the start rebuilt.

However, I do need something for you guys. For those who have decided to help me by giving stories I need you to contact me. I have lost your sprites and am unsure of your stories and comments and such. I am tagging the people I remember below.

Demo?

Hey guys,

I know its been a while since I updated, I’m sorry. I have some good news. I have completed the end of the story map! (I built the end map first for a finish line for myself) Once I have the opening sequence finished (which shouldn’t take too long) I was hoping to post a link as a demo of sorts. What do you guys think?

As of right now the software I’m using does not have a save feature so the ‘demo’ wouldn’t be all that long, but I am excited to get feed back if you guys are interested!

Good luck on your exams! This looks like a very exciting project to keep an eye on, and I'm very encouraged by how much determination and heart you have for what you're creating!

Thanks! Sorry it took so long to get back. I’ve started working and haven’t really found time for much recently, but I’m back! Once the opening level is done I will be releasing a link for demo purposes (just a sneak peak at the games plot and such). I’m so glad you’re interested.

Hey guys, 

I know I promised an explanation of the plot a while ago (sorry @ts-art-and-etc). I have some of it done but it’s not finished yet. I know it’s been way too long but I’m sorry. I have school things. I’m in IB so the final stretch is on as the exams that count for like 80% of my grade are next month. I’m not going to get much time to work on it until the end of May. That also means I also forget to post things because I have so many things going on. I’m still playing a lot with the plot at the moment and I don’t want to release it until it has been completed. I’m so sorry, but its coming I promise.

The Misadventures of the Fan Base

Hey everyone! I’m working on a fan game for Markiplier and jacksepticeye and am looking for help. I am looking for stories, comments and anything else anyone would like to add. I started this project last Sunday and am looking for as many people to help as possible.

For stories, I am looking for a message to Mark or Jack telling them how they’ve helped you, why you like them, how you found them, and/or anything you would like to tell them. These are for at the end of the game.

The comments I am looking for are for in-game dialogue between people in towns and the player (which will not be Mark or Jack in terms of the character being played). For these I am looking for jokes, encouragement, random comments or anything else you think would be cool for a person in the town to say. I am hoping for the towns to be full of real fans and their comments because I would like for this to be a very community based game.

As for anything else, such as fanart or music, you would like to contribute would not actually be able to go into the game (as I am using a Chromebook and the program I have to use as a result does not even allow save mechanics or combat systems). However, I am dedicating this blog to the fanart for this game. So if you would like to add to the game, any fan art or the like will end up here.
