Ada Limón, “Instructions on Not Giving Up” in The Carrying: Poems (originally published in 2017)
I just finished watching before I fall and omg I have so many feelings about it...
My first time watching that movie I was about 10 years old, and I guess the atmosphere that the movie's cinematography made me feel literally made me today. Back then I didn't even understand the story that deeply. Just that it made me feel something. And now like, eight years later I rewatched it and poof it's like I'm ten again but know a lot more than I did. It's so crazy how movies and time can make you feel that way. Totally felt like I was back to when I was a kid, in our living room, home alone watching that movie for the first time. The way it made me feel—it was like I was reliving the day I first watched it, but it's already been years. It's insane, oh before I fall you have my heart.
I'm eighteen so basically I have two minutes to figure shit out and get it together
I should start posting art here (*﹏*;)
playing genshin on my non gaming laptop because I already bought a console and there's no turning back ones currency is shed
doom scrolling on my laptop is better than doing it on the phone because it looks like I'm doing something very important either academically or in a teenage girl kind of way
