The Tholos of Delphi, The Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia (Delphi, Greece)

The most iconic monument of Delfi is not the temple of Apollo where the famous oracle was. It is the Tholos in the sanctuary of Athena Pronaia,

The Tholos of Delphi is a circular building of diameter 13,50 m. which is dated in the beginning of 4th cent. B.C. On a three level  base was standing a circular cella which was externally surrounded by 20 Doric Order columns. The interior colonnade had 10 Corinthian Order ones.

The use of The Tholos still remains unknown.
