It felt good to be in the outside and the blonde was going to savor that feeling, even if it wasn’t as beautiful as she had hoped it would be. Closing her eyes she leaned her head against the building and let out a slow breath. “Is there no alone time here?” She glanced at the person that had come closer before reaching up to tug at the collar she couldn’t seem to get off.

Nathan was walking around taking in the sights of everything he had created for the year. It was a good feeling. He was passing a blonde that didn’t catch his attention until she spoke. “Actually, you don’t need alone time if we don’t want to give it.”

“I’ve been here for a long ass time... and I’ve only ever claimed two slaves. There isn’t a science to it, they just have to get me interested enough to care if other people are touching them.

“Odds are you will be one to eat”

“Encouragement? You’ve already taken away our freedom.” She said quietly. “Those who are smart already know they have to be good and obedient in order to survive and be safe here. Why not show them a little faith by giving them a meal?” 

“Technically that’s what this is doing. The ones who will behave will end up with signatures and will eat. The ones who don’t listen will stay hungry”

“Haven’t decided... I want to make sure it’s an owner who will start it off with a bang”

“Don’t worry I’ll remind you what it is you really love.” What was it called again stockholm syndrome? Maybe that was what had happened to Maggie with Nathan but she was beyond caring at this point. “Well I promise I’m not going to let you down sir.”

“I wouldn’t mind if you reminded me later tonight, to celebrate the start of a new summer?” he asked, a smirk across his lips.

“Now why on earth would you do that - you would never want to settle down with anyone.” Maggie hummed as she looked up at him with a small smirk. “I don’t know…it definitely feels good but I’m still getting used to it you know? Thank you, for letting me do this.”

“You know me too well... if you ever see me down on one knee, and it’s not for a forced orgasm, then shoot me.” He said, with a chuckle. “Apparently I don’t really say no to you, which you used to your advantage”

Her eyes locked with him and she frown. “W-Why would you do that?” She whispered. “Why are you doing this to us?”

“So that we can see what you slaves are willing to do with a little... encouragement... there’s a lot more to come”

“Darling, darling, this is not my first rodeo.” Eden chuckled, moving to tuck her arm over his elbow. “They will learn. If not …” She shrugged, leaving the sentence open-ended. Well, they all knew the repercussions to meek hearted Owners.

“Yeah, they can’t exactly claim all of them” he pointed out, with a casual shrug. “I’m looking forward to seeing what people do with the play room this year.”

          phoebe  couldn’t  help  but  stop  in  their  tracks  as  soon  as  they  found  out  he  was  the  one  in  charge.   making  a  mental  note  that  it  probably  wasn’t  wise  to  say  no  to  him  again,  nor  drawing  too  much  attention  towards  them,  phoebe  simply  hummed  and  nodded.   ‘   i  see.   you  don’t   have   to  claim  anyone  to  begin  with  as  you  already  own  every  person  walking  on  these  grounds   —–  owners  and  slaves  alike,  right   ?   ’   phoebe  inquired,  unable  to  hide  the  small  tremble  in  their  own  voice. 

“Exactly. I will do whatever I please. The only reason I would bother claiming someone is if I didn’t want anyone else touching them. Has only happened once or twice, but I don’t think this year will be one of those years.”

“Funny.” Maggie grinned as she moved over to the male, sliding herself under his arm like she had done a million times before. “Seen anyone to replace me yet?” She asked as she looked up at him from under thick lashes, she might have been in the same position as him this year but that didn’t mean she wasn’t still aiming to be his favourite. 

“Honestly, if I find someone that bumps you out of first place then I’ll probably have to marry them” he pointed out, with a slightly playful tone. “How does it feel to be on the other side of the leash?”
