Clint had been taking a break it was before a show and he had plenty of time before people started showing up. So he had picked a tree somewhere near the front that left him partially obscured by one of the huge posters that the circus had just invested in. It was of him of course. He was now the main attraction that the show drew, less and less people came for the sword fighting or the martial arts or even the spectacle off some of the more gypsy like attractions(fortune tellers and street food). It was him hanging upside down on the trapeze bow in hand ready to fire. With the tag line COME SEE HAWKEYE THE GREATEST MARKSMAN IN THE WORLD. Was it true? Clint didn’t know, it was a great tag line though.
The archer had chosen this place specifically to avoid anyone in the circus seeing that he was slacking off instead of training or helping set up. He was one of the ones who could get away with it but getting caught never ended well. It was in this position though that he noticed someone wandering onto the premises. Someone who didn’t belong.
“Hey!” He called out sitting up from where he was laying in the branches. “The show doesn’t start for another few hours! You aren’t suppose to be here!”
