This color continues to grow on me. It represents so much of that fire and passion that lives within...
#9to5 Every opportunity is a learning experience. I never thought a 'moment' of my life would be spent in medical education, but I guess anything can happen in 2015. I've had some amazing supervisors but that one guy in the middle Dr. Davis is one I will remember. After only 8 months of this 'moment' , this guy decides to retire after 40 years in med Ed. It's bittersweet to this diverse team of 6, but it's a constant reminder that change is good and life goes on. At 70 something he loves to travel, teach, joke, tell you what kind of Canadian whiskey, wine, spirits are the best, and talk about his wife of over 50 years like its a part 2 of the Notebook movie. đą top right. People come into your life even if it's for a season, but their reason for being there leaves a greater impact.
WC Day 8: Book Lover - âTheir Eyes Were Watching Godâ Zora Neale Hurston
Go for it. Whether it ends good or bad, it was an experience...
WC Day 7: Tattoos
You Canât Put A Bumper Sticker on a Bentley -Kim K
No Tattoos....
WC Day 6 : Fascinating People
Someone who fascinates me would have to be (unfortunately now) is Bill Cosby. I grew up on The Cosby show and A Different World. The shows felt like home and they made you a part of the cast every episode. Almost every morning, I wake up to A Different World on television and watch like I havenât seen the same episode over and over again. Bill Cosby, was the guy you looked up to before his alleged infidelities and âpill droppingâ accusations came out. The shows he managed to produce were family-oriented and still are. He fascinates me because even with his secret past, his writing and ability to draw people into his scripts are still captivatingÂ
WC Day 5: The Places Youâll Make Home, But Never Visit
Iâve had the opportunity to travel to several different places in my lifetime but the one place I would probably make home that I have never visited would have to be Tahiti for at least a year. Itâs good to experience new things and new places.

WC Day 3: First Love....First Kiss
First love and first kiss happened on two separate occasions in two different decades. Hey you can be young and think you are in love but it was just a little first kiss... Never saw him again after 1st grade...hmm
First love....well it definitely was that, my first love. Today, I often think to myself, how could you be in love in middle and high school? Couldnât really date unless you went on occasional group outings, pg films, the skating rink with your parents, or in my situation co-ed sleepovers.... (Trust me they very innocent movie nights). Although we had our ups, downs and fights, he knew where my heart was and Iâm quite sure he knew the type of woman I would be become. Even at our young age, we had the deepest conversations about life and where we wanted to go. It was fun, it was eye-opening for a first love and we are still friends.Â
WC Day 2: Your Earliest Memory
My earliest memory was in April 1997. My family and I were gearing up to move to a bigger place and new city. Although I was leaving, there were so many memories made in that townhouse on the corner. As we packed the last few boxes up and watched the sunset (as cliche as it sounds) we saw a bunny rabbit run across the yard and just stare at the house. My mom reminded me that a rabbit would occasionally pop up every year around my birthday, go figure. But it was just a nice memory.
WC Day 1: 5 Problems Wrong With Social Media
In 2007 my life changed. I joined the Myspace and Facebook world. It was the start of new relationship I thought. I was socially acceptable in the virtual world and found it fascinating to interact with friends in some unconventional ways. lol But today, 2015 that is, there are few pet peeves in trying to keep up with this new age of social media.Â
1. Social Media request in the workplace
We live in a time where everyone wants to be friendly, I understand that. However there are somethings I prefer to keep strictly for family and friends. We may grow to be friends one day and I may accept your friend request AFTER I put my 2 weeks notice in, but for now letâs just keep our co-working experience a successful one. :)Â
2. Too Much Business and Marketing
What happen to posting pictures of just fun and creative things? Now everything is a marketing pitch or promotions. As PR professional, I get it. But there comes a time when boutiques, waist gang consultants and party promoters just over do it.Â
3. Celebrities: Mystery Solved
This is a good and bad thing. With the rise of Instagram and the Facebook integration, celebrities are pretty much at an arms reach. Fans now have an in-depth look in their everyday lives (or as much as they want us to see). I remember when I first started pursing a career in entertainment, I enjoyed working in the background because it was about the experience and mystery of production. The celebs were the added bonus. Now their almost touchable and give up to much of themselves to make fans feel comfortable. Now, it is a great thing to be human, but donât give all your mystery away. You worked to hard to be noticed.
4. SM Overload
Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, Linkedin, Musical.ly, MySpace ( oh hey Tom!) we can never have to many platforms, but it can be overwhelming sometime. A social media break is needed from time to time to get your own reality together. Remember that.
5. Social Media is Forever
The Internet is eternal. There is no backspace after you post. You think you deleted something, well the Internet determined that was a lie. Everything you post lives within. Post Responsibly.
