MOUNT ANALOGUE IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE: FINAL ROSE BY HALIE THEOHARIDES
Final Rose is a book-length poem / a body of images / a collection of screenshots taken by Halie Theoharides while watching episodes of The Bachelor.
There are many ways to read FINAL ROSE. Each moment in the book offers up a shiny surprise, as playful as it is insightful, as funny as it is terrifying, always with a masterful eye for composition and a keen sense of observation. FINAL ROSE has the power to recontextualize our modes of processing and accepting the myths we are given about love, relationships, and sex.
What we end up feeling at the end of FINAL ROSE is armed. Rejuvenated. Packed with a new kind of world to believe in.
