[text] Sure. Um, is something wrong?
It wasn’t long after she squeezed around him that he went tumbling over the edge. His hips rutted up under her as he called out her name, a prayer on his lips, over and over. Once he came down, he carefully collapsed against the bed, bringing her down with him. “Fuck,” he murmured, kissing her hair. “Needed that.”
Ruby panted, nodding against his chest. “Yeah.” They were accustomed to having sex on a regular basis; on the occasions where they were busy, they tended to get cranky and irritable. She thoroughly enjoyed their sex life. And she felt it brought them closer as a couple.
“Honestly, it seemed like something you would do.” Victor had learned a lot from watching her and had adapted her instincts as his own. “Plus, we already put cinnamon on the French toast. Why not have it already in the bread?” It was a good call on his part, and he was quite proud of himself.
She grinned. “Excellent point.” She took another couple of bites, humming to herself. It really was good and just the thing to soothe her growling belly. “I think we should let you cook by yourself more often. Don’t you?” He’d been a hopeless bachelor when they first started dating, but now he took an active interest and was getting good at things like this.
“Trust me,” Victor said, closing his eyes for a moment. “I’m not going anywhere.” In spite of his shame, he’d probably hit the floor as soon as he stood up. That would just add to the embarrassment he was already feeling, and he didn’t want or need that. When she didn’t move, he knew Ruby was waiting for the words. So, he opened his eyes and looked up at her. “I promise.”
Grateful, she gave him a warm smile. “See, that wasn’t so hard.” She touched his cheek. “I’ll be back very soon, okay? You just rest, Victor.” One last smile and got up, smoothing out her slightly rumpled clothes. If she put her cloak on, no one would know. She shrugged into it, then headed for the door, opening it just enough to escape, not wanting to cause Victor any further pain.

Victor wished he had another hand to spare, but it was useless at the moment, sitting loosely at his side, trying not to curl into a fist. He kissed her fervently for a minute before moving his lips down her neck. He found a breast quickly, wrapping his lips around her nipple once more. He needed her to come; he was so close to the edge.
“Fuuuck,” Ruby groaned loudly. His mouth on her breast shot jolts down her spine. Her fingers slipped between them and rubbed her clit hard, needing to come and come now. The orgasm washed over her in a rush, incoherent cries tumbling from her lips as she moved, hoping to drag him with her.
“I wholeheartedly agree,” Victor said with a smile. He leaned over and kissed Ruby on the corner of her lips. He was just so happy to be with her and enjoying the week with her. It felt like the year had flown by and passed slowly all at once; he couldn’t wait for the rest of it with her by his side. “There’s no one else I’d rather have breakfast in bed with.”
“i should hope not.” She elbowed him gently and returned to her breakfast. The French toast was amazing, the cinnamon really made it pop. “Why this bread?” she asked. He was always exaggerating her skills in the kitchen, praising her instincts. Now she wondered about his.
“Got any Enchanted Forest hangover remedies equivalent to Tylenol or a greasy burger?” Victor asked, chuckling. He regretted it immediately, a wave of pain moving through his head. With every ache, he felt worse and worse about what he’d done; it was hard to stick around and let Ruby see that shame.
Ruby saw him wince and instinctively squeezed his hand. “Hey, it’s okay,” she murmured. She pressed a kiss to his forehead. She suspected he was embarrassed about what happened the night before, but she wasn’t judging him. She had bad nights too. “I can get you something for that head, if you promise to stay here? Please?”

Victor made a sound of agreement as she crushed her lips to his. He wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her even closer to him. The closer he was to her was still too far away. “Love you,” he mumbled against her lips, biting her lower lip.
“Love you.” Ruby slipped her hand between them, trying to find her clit. Her thighs ached from the strain, the pressure building low in her belly. “Ugh, so close,” she hissed, kissing him again, more insistently.
“Well,” Victor said, humming around a piece of sausage. “If you say so. I did pretty damn good.” The sausage complimented the toast perfectly, a whole other array of flavors coming out when dipped in syrup. And the cinnamon raisin bread had been the right call. “Of course, I’ve had an excellent teacher.”
Ruby grinned at him. “Gee, you don’t say,” she teased, offering him a bite of her toast. She giggled when he took it, then got another for herself. “Hmm, we should do breakfast in bed more often.”
Victor sighed in relief, his pain simmering down slightly the instant she closed the second curtain. There was still a dull thud in his skull, though. “Thank you,” he whispered, reaching out to take her hand. He couldn’t begin to describe how grateful he was to her after the ass he had been the previous night.
Ruby squeezed his hand sympathetically. “You’re welcome. Can I do anything else?” She was sure Granny knew a few remedies for a hangover, but she was reluctant to leave him for any length of time. But surely he’d need a remedy for his surely aching head.

[text] Sure. Um, is something wrong?
Victor groaned at the neediness in her voice before smacking her ass once more, a little harder. He was drowning in every feeling he had for her, and it was a feeling he wanted to hold onto. Every wave of pleasure that washed over him just pulled him in deeper.
Ruby moaned loudly, the smack of his hand melting into pleasure. “Fuck, so good,” she breathed. She moved faster, planting her feet to ride him harder. “Missed you so much.” She kissed him, arms wrapping around his neck.
Victor followed quickly after her, pouring the syrup over his toast before digging in. He hummed in delight at the taste. “Damn,” he mumbled before taking a sip of his milk. “Not to toot my own horn, but…” A lot of the credit had to go to Ruby, though. He had learned everything he knew from her.
Ruby grinned at him. “No, please do. Toot away. You earned it.” She kissed his shoulder, then went back to her breakfast. It calmed her growling belly; she washed down another bite with juice.
Victor peaked out from one of his eyelids for a moment, regretting the action immediately. He closed his eyes again and slowly nodded his head. “If you don’t mind,” he said quietly. The hangover was something he had brought upon himself, but the last week had been hard on him; he’d drank a lot more than previous nights.
She squeezed hand. “Back in a minute.” She climbed from the bed and hurried to the window, tugging the curtains fully closed. She did the same with the other one, bathing the room in semi darkness. Ruby climbed back into her bed, scooting back into her place. “There, curtains closed.”

Victor sighed in pleasure as she pulled him back in, then let out a muffled sound of surprise at the force of her kiss. He wished he could touch her, but one would have to do. Trailing his hand down her side, he moved it around behind her down to her ass. He gave it a little snack before squeezing it, encouraging her movements.
Ruby shivered hard, a fresh wave of lust coursing through her. “Oh my god,” she breathed, head falling into the crook of his shoulder. “Do that again.” Perhaps it was a result of being deprived of him for too long, but she wanted everything.
Victor put his fingers under her chin, turning her back to him, and pressed a long kiss to her lips. When he pulled back, he brushed the hair from her face. “Anything for you,” he said, smiling genuinely at her. He really did love her. “Now, dig in, before it starts to get too cool.”
“Yes, Doctor,” she said, flashing him a knowing grin. Ruby picked up a fork and poured the warm syrup on her food. Then she cut a piece of French toast and sausage, popping them into her mouth. “Hmm, this is really good!” The cinnamon raisin bread was a happy surprise.
Victor closed his eyes again, the light coming in through the windows too much for him to deal with at the moment. “I slept uninterrupted. I guess I’d call that better,” he mumbled. He was more than grateful for Ruby’s help, but he was also embarrassed that he’d been found the way he had.
She let go of his head and skimmed her fingers over his brow. “Want me to fix the curtains?” There was light streaming from the gaps; Victor probably had a wicked hangover. They could talk when he felt more like himself. She just wanted to help.
