It is created by a Tumblr RPer and has worked well all this time for me. Puts everything in chronological order so you know. The only thing is you will need to start a new thread if you are answering an open starter, but that’s a small issue compared to not getting any notifications.

Her cheeks flushed, one hand pulled up her hair while the other fanned her face. Celeste slipped outside — the roof wasn’t her favorite spot, too many people smoking but, for the cool breeze it offered, that was a small price to pay. Moving towards the edge of the roof, she tilted her head back, looking up at the night sky. She looked down as someone passed by her, something fluttering out of their pocket.

She’d stepped over, picking up what had fallen. It looked like a business card. Celeste turned it over in her hands for a moment before moving after the man. “I think you dropped this!” she called out, though the blare of the music drowned out her voice. “I think you dropped this!” she tried again, picking up her pace. It was no use.

He stopped at the corner of the roof, and Celeste hurried over, tapping on his shoulder. “Sorry?” Celeste blinked for a moment, confused. It took her a moment to process his question. “Oh, no, no, I don’t smoke,” a soft smile came with her confession her body swaying in towards his to be heard over the music. “I think you dropped this though,” Celeste added offering up the card.

A brow arched at the young woman who arguably looked a little too young to be in the club though it was not his place to say exactly. Glancing down at the card, he gave her a curt smile. It was not something he would have particularly missed but alas he was appreciative of the gesture.

“Thank you.” He replied curtly as he took the card from her and placed it in his trouser pocket again. Though he was not exactly one for small talk, he engaged her for the moment anyway. “Are you having a good evening?” He asked in an unnaturally louder voice than usual due to the overt bass-filled music.

Enfin le vendredi!

Everybody seems to have a skip in their step today. 

Over there, the florist is giving a lovely old lady a blue iris that matches her eyes. And over there, a little dog has a baguette almost bigger than it as it trots merrily down the cobbled streets. And blink and you’ll miss it but I think the butcher’s son and the young grocer’s daughter just shared their first kiss.

There are so many sights to see in the heart of Paris, and I have been told there is a delectable jazz night you simply must join us for later this evening.

open to females, malcolm is a test muse - a successful businessman in the motoring industry

Malcolm was not a man who often frequented somewhere such as this, and did he stick out like a sore thumb here in the lavish nightclub. How he still put himself through nuisances such as the evening was beyond him, but the need to win over clients was still more powerful than his own discomfort at being somewhere frequent by those many years his junior.

Managing to escape the much younger man for a moment, he headed toward the smoking area on the rooftop. Lo and behold there was still a bar above playing far too loud music still. More fool him that he thought he could escape the noise for a moment. Finding himself a corner, he looked out at the nighttime scene before him as he lit himself a cigarette, just as he was tapped on the shoulder.

“Was it a lighter you needed?”
