Katie:"That's right, nothing is going to take either one of use away." she said, gently nodding her head, though it caused a bit of pain in the back of her neck, causing her to wince slightly. "I know I am." she said with a chuckle, clearly joking. Katie smiled gently at his offer. "I figured you would, Cammy, and I appreciate it." she said, nodding her head. "Well, don't just stand there like a lost puppy, you can sit down." she said, gently pointing over to the chair just next to her bed. "As of now, the only thing I'm truly, truly worried about is what Kyle did with Emerson."

Cam: Rolling his brown eyes playfully he goes over to the seat. "Funny puppy, I look like a puppy well people think out here in To." Looking at her with his brown eyes he nods. "Well look if you want I could bring her to your parents"? They always did adore Cam. "When you're ready I'll bring her to see you." Rubbing his hands together he just wanted to make things easy for her.

Katie:Katie smiled softly at Cam. "Are you kidding me? Katie Matlin doesn't go down without a fight." she joked. Listening to him speak, Katie ran what she should say so many times through her head before she decided to finally say it. "Come on, you couldn't lose me if you tried. We'll always be best friends, I promise." she said, her voice still scratchy from her pain. Katie looked over at the roses he got for her, smiling gently. "Thank you for the roses, they're beautiful." she said, looking back up at him and noticing he was crying. "Hey, no crying. There's no reason to be crying here."

Cam: Smiling he knew she was right. "True no one could take you away from us, you know you're amazing." Nodding he would go to the end of the earth for her. Mouth wide along with his eyes he nods his head fast. Even if it wasn't the truth he just went with it. Hospitals were sad places, anytime he went to one it just brought you down, plus he fought for his life in one. "Whatever you need I will help you and Maya of course." He had all the time in the world, right now nothing meant anything to him but being here with her.

Katie: Katie hated having to wake up in the morning in her hospital bed, knowing it would only be days filled with pain. At least when she was sleeping, she usually took her pain medicine to knock her out so she couldn't feel anything when she moved. Once she was awake, the pain medicine usually wore off and she wouldn't be able to have some for hours at a time. Katie wasn't left with much to do in her hospital room. She couldn't move any part of her body except her head and neck, and sometimes she could very slowly move her arms. She often had to ask the nurses to turn on the TV, adjust her pillows, do other small things for her that she wasn't able to do herself. Hearing the door open and a deep voice, Katie knew who it was. "Cam....hey..." she said with a scratchy voice, gently turning her head to face him. "How did you know I was here?"

Cam: Feeling his heart shatter he closes his eyes then opens them. "I'm so happy you're alive." Tears fill up like running water in the sink. Trying to hold it together he lets out a breath. Going over he sets the roses down so she could see them. "White roses for you, look we.. I need you in my life well were best friends I don't care what anyone says." "I'll always love you but friends will work for us." Smiling he lets the tears stream down his face. Wiping them away he goes over to her side.

Alex: "Alright. Maybe I will finally able to sleep tonight" she said picking up the broken glass from the floor. "I'm so happy. I'm very glad you came over" she said looking up at him smiling.

Cam: "Yeah me too." Once they finished up he kicks his shoes off. Going over to her bed he knew he would be here more often. "Come come so we could go to sleep."

Cam: Once the hockey heartthrob found out about Katie he couldn't function. Spacing himself from people to being angry he just needed to see if she wasn't in too much danger. Something in him told him she would make it out stronger then ever. When Cam had talked to Maya he rushed over to the store to get her white roses. Driving over to the hospital in a rush he just needed to be with her. Getting there once he parks his car he gets out with the roses, leaving his phone in his car he didn't care. Going in the ER he goes to ask for her room. Going over to the icu area he goes into her room. "Katie its me.. Cam".

Alex: She giggled again as he carried her and kissed his cheek softly. She was glad he was here with her. She looked at him as he set down on the bed, "After cleaning can we cuddle?" she asked him before standing up. She ran her hand through her hair and started to clean the mess.

Cam:"Yes then we will get some sleep, plus I got hockey practice in the morning before class so don't freak when I'm gone." Picking up her room he couldn't stop smiling. His cheeks were hurting but he knew he would get used to the feeling again.
