Moving In
Despite the fact that she’s been in this apartment a couple of times, it never ceased to amaze her how well her girlfriend was doing for herself. There was no denying that this place was nice, it certainly was the perfect little place for Spencer to get to call home – hopefully. She set down Hanna’s things she had carried in neatly onto the nearest kitchen counter and the bag full of both of their clothes onto the floor. She was happy to see that the place was clean because that meant less time she had to spend cleaning and more time she would get to spend settling in with the love of her life. This was going to be good, she kept assuring herself of that whenever the reminder that she had quit an amazing job in Connecticut would creep into her mind.
“Anything you need for the next two months while you’re healing, just ask and it’s done,” Spencer stated, already unpacking all of the medicine Hanna had collected from the hospital. “Think of me as your at-home doctor, not as your bitch.” She had of course memorized all there was to know about the medications, such as what prescription first and when and how much, and had narrowed down the search for the best physical therapist in the area to four names. The faster Hanna got better, the faster Spencer could go back to school or get a job here or whatever it was she would end up doing, she hadn’t thought of all that yet. “Are you hungry?”
Hanna moved to rub the note from the board, before she turned to her girlfriend and forced a smile as she nodded her head. “You’re kinda my bitch, too, though.” She teased, slowly moving around the kitchen to check the fridge, “Gross,” She finally commented, “We need to chuck this food out.” She sighed, taking a bottle of water before she closed the fridge with a frown.
When the question was posed, she just shook her head, “Not really, I’m just tired but help yourself, we’ll have to go grocery shopping tomorrow or whatever.” Tired Hanna was grumpy Hanna and to add the fact she was hurt and bored into that, only made it worse.
