• Gundham actually let you follow him around for a while, not really questioning it.

• But it was being to make him feel uneasy.

• "Mortal, why do you keep following me around? Are you planning on trying to defeat the Almighty Gundham Tanaka? Because if so, I will not hesitate to destroy you!"

• "What? No! I don't want to kill you. You just seem so powerful, it makes me feel safe."

• Gundham thought for a moment before smiling at you. "Hahaha! It seems as though a weak mortal needs me to protect them! Very well then, I shall do so."

• When you first start hanging out he's a bit awkward.

• He's not used to people hanging out with him, so sometimes the conversations don't last long.

• If there is ever a time where you two need to be separated for some reason, he will cast a protection spell on you to make you feel safer.

• He also gives you two of his Four Dark Devas of Destruction.

• If you ever touch him he will immediately pull away on instinct.

• "Y/N! You can not touch me! You will be infected with poison!"

• "But I thought I had a protection spell cast upon me."

• You had been following him around for a week now.

Gonta

• When you first started following Gonta around he didn't think anything of it.

• He just thought it was a weird coincidence that you two were always in the same place at the same time.

• One day though it clicked in his head that you were following him.

• He wasn't mad or anything, just confused.

• "Y/N? Gonta noticed that you've been following him around for a while now. Is something wrong?"

• "Oh. Nothings wrong. You just make me feel safe, so I've been following you. Sorry.

• He was a bit shocked at first. Most people were scared of him, you were the first person who ever felt safe with him.

• "You... feel safe with Gonta?"

• You nodded your head shyly.

• "Gonta will protect you Y/N! No matter what! Like true gentleman."

You weren't really sure how you got here. You had been fine for the past week. You were happy and enjoying your time at school. You and all your friends have been hanging out and having a great time together.

Then you just somehow broke. All the emotions you've been bottling up and suppressing for the past week hit you like a ton of bricks all at once.

You were sitting on the floor crying. You could barley breathe and your face was wet with tears.

You started crying again. "I'm sorry Kaito!"

Momota put his ear on your door. He could hear you sniffling which made him nervous. "H-hey Y/N! I'm not mad that you forgot, it's alright."

"I know! Just go look at the sky without me ok!?"

Kaito tried to open up the door, it rattled due to being locked. "Can you open the door? I just want to make sure you're ok."

You couldn't have him come in. You were a mess right now. You didn't want him to see you like this. "I'm fine Kaito. Don't worry about me ok?"

Kaito ignored you and tried to open the door again. "Y/N. Open the door. I know somethings up."

You sighed. You knew he was stubborn but you were hoping that for once in his life he wouldn't be. "I'm fine, really!"

"No, your not!"

"Yes, I am!"

Kaito sighed. "Y/N, I can hear you crying. Please open the door."

You stopped crying at once. You were going to try and deny it, but you knew it was no use. You got up and slowly unlocked the door and opened it for him.

Kaito walked into the room. He saw your red puffy eyes and tear stained cheeks. He began walking towards you and took both of your hands into his.

"Don't be sad! If this is about you forgetting about our date tonight it's totally ok. You shouldn't beat yourself up over something like that! Or if you didn't want to hang out with me tonight that was fine too."

You held onto his hands. "I really did want to go out. B-but I started crying and then I forgot about the date. I'm sorry, Kaito."

He gave you a smile. "It's ok Y/N, but why were you crying in the first place?"

All your thoughts from before and your reason for crying popped back into your head at once and you almost felt like crying again.

"I've been fine for the whole week but then I just kinda broke down. I thought I was ok but I wasn't and now I'm crying and I don't know what to do and I'm sorry-"

Kaito stopped you mid sentence by pulling you into a hug. "Don't apologize. It isn't your fault."

Tears kept falling from your face. "O-ok."

Kaito grabbed your shoulders and pushed you away from him. He looked directly into your eyes. "Wanna know something?"

You nodded your head. "Sure."

"When you cry it just means you've been strong for too long, and I'm so proud of you for that! You've been pushing through and fighting your demons and that's so great! The weakest people are the ones that don't cry. So when you cry that just means that you're strong."

You felt tears sting your eyes. "D-do you really mean that?"

He gently picked you up and began carrying you outside. "Of course we can! It's never to late to look at the sky. Plus, the Luminary of The Stars still has more to teach you about constellations."

You giggled. You would never be able to understand why he was so optimistic, but that wasn't a bad thing. Him and his positive attitude were always there for you.

Gundham crossed his arms and didn't say anything. You continued to draw. About five minutes later you finally realized what you said.

You quickly placed down your pencil and turned around to face Gundham. "Wait! Not like that! I mean, yeah I love him but I also love you."

Gundham blushed. "I- I know that! The love spell I have put you under is far more powerful than the one that 2d man has you under!"

Gundham held his hand out. "Now please, join me in what we have left of our slumber."

You took his hand. "Ok. My drawing is pretty much done anyway."

Part if you wanted to stay up and work, but you knew you kinda hurt Gundham's feelings and decided it would be best to just go to sleep.

He shut off your lamp and lead you to your shared bedroom. On your way there Gundham was awfully quite. "Gundham, are you ok?"

"I just didn't think you would like something like that," you said.

Gundham looked at the ground with a bright blush on his face. "Your art work is truly magnificent. I would be honored if you were to draw me something using your outstanding talent."

You smiled and hugged him. "Awe! Thank you Gundham! I'll be sure to make you twenty pictures for your upcoming birthday!"

Kazuichi

It was 3:00 am and you were still drawing. You just had to finish this one picture and then you could be done and go to bed. Only problem was it was taking forever.

For some reason Kaz was also awake. He was fixing up some old bike he had found. Once he finished he went to go check on you.

"Hey babe, watch ya doing," he asked as he came up behind you.

You sighed tiredly. "Nothing, I'm just trying to finish my drawing."

Kazuichi looked at the drawing. "Who's that?"

"Just this boy from an anime I'm watching. His birthday is tomorrow so I'm drawing him a picture."

"Why didn't I get a picture drawn of me on my birthday," Souda asked obviously offended.

You shrugged. "I just didn't think you would want one."

Kazuichi laughed. "I love your drawings! Of course I would want you to make me one!"

You had just finished your picture. "Ok then! I'll make you twice as many pictures for your birthday, that way you won't be jealous of him."

Kaz crossed his arms. "I wasn't jealous! I know you love me more than him." It was silent for a moment. "Y-you do love me more, right?"

You giggled. "Of course I love you more, silly! Now let's go to bed."

Gonta Gokuhara’s S/O Discovering His Plan To Kill Miu & Mercy Kill The Others, Then Begs Him To Spare Her First! (Angst!)

Truthfully, you were quiteskeptical about Miu’s Virtual Word. You wondered how this would offer a way toescape the Killing Game, but everyone else seemed so enthusiastic and curious.Your boyfriend, Gonta, was especially curious since he had never experiencedVirtual Reality or anything coming close to it before.

With a reluctant sigh, you join the others in the World she had created, butyou weren’t going to go passively. While you were here, you wanted to do some investigating of your own. You departed from Gonta, leaving him with Ouma Kokichi… whichdidn’t help settle your nerves. 

After veering away from the pack, you trail Miu from a distance while making surethat you wouldn’t be seen. You watched her travel through the wall that wassupposed to be the cut-off point in this World and the alarms in your headbegan to sound.

The only person you truly trusted in the Killing Game was Gonta, and possiblySaihara Shuichi but you didn’t want to bring too much attention to theremaining students just yet and cause a panic. A heavy, sinking feeling formed in the pit of yourstomach as everything in your gut told you that something bad was about tohappen. You were growing more and more concerned with your own safety and allyou wanted to do was run to Gonta so he could protect you.

What you stumbled upon instead changed your mind. 

As you approached the two boys, youoverheard Ouma explaining his plan to kill Miu, and you froze in fear. CouldGonta really be considering this? Killing someone in cold blood? You didn’t understand…he was the last person you thought would become the Blackened…

You made your presence known, causing the two boys to jump. Their faces twisted into uncomfortable looks of worry… worry that you may have just overheard their plans. 

“Oh, (Y/N)!” Ouma says cheerfully, masking the fear festering inside of him. He didn’t want to get his hands dirty and have to kill you as well… plus, he knew Gonta couldn’t bring himself to kill his partner. The smaller man was smiling on the outside but crumbling internally at the thought that his plans may now be in shambles.

“Can I talk to Gonta for a moment?” Your voice was a bit shaky which only tipped Ouma off and confirmed his suspicions, but he couldn’t keep you two apart. The large man hesitantly complies before he could say anything, and Ouma watches helplessly as you and Gonta disappear on the other side of the building.

Your expression speaks for itself and the Entomologist swallows hard, his heart beginning to race. He didn’t normally feel this weak or nervous, but how else was he supposed to react? As you turn towards him and take his much larger hands into your own, your heart began fluttering in your chest. You wished so desperately that this was just a dream or somehow part of the simulation Miu had created.

“Please, tell me what you’re planning. I know you’re better than this, Gonta.” Your voice sounded like a plea, but inside you knew the truth that you didn’t want to face. His lip quivered as he broke down and spilled everything.

“Gonta just wants to save the others from the outside…” his voice is straining. You narrow your eyes, unsure of what this could possibly mean; but before you can interrogate him further, the answers come rushing out of his mouth. “Kokichi and Gonta found out truth about the outside! Gonta don’t want his friends to live like that… it was bad, very bad.”

“Gonta,” none of this was making any sense and you worried that this may just be part of Ouma’s plan to manipulate and frame Gonta at the Trial, “What are you talking about?”

In a desperate tone, he forces back the tears in his eyes. “Mercy kill! We mercy kill the others and leave so that our friends don’t have to live like that!”

Everything was beginning to make sense now. Somehow, through the Flashback Light, Ouma and Gonta must have uncovered the truth about the outside world. If it was really as bad as he says it is, you didn’t know if you wanted to live that way, either. And he seemed so sincere that you couldn’t help but to believe him.

Gonta wasn’t the best liar nor would he try tricking to you, and you break away from his grasp momentarily to assess the situation. Suddenly, everything felt so overwhelming and the seriousness of the situation was beginning to sink in.

It’s true, you didn’t want to live in a world that could be as awful as he is implying and maybe their plan to spare everyone from that fate was worth it… Gonta seemed to have pure intentions, after all. You were getting sick of the Killing Game, anyway, and didn’t know how much more of this you could take.

You place a soft hand on his cheek and reassuringly smile. “Listen,” you coo in hopes of easing his mind, “do you really think that sparing everyone will save us? That this is truly the right thing to do?”

Gonta nods his head silently. “And this is the choice you made for yourself? You aren’t just doing what Kokichi is telling you?”

Once again, he reassures you that this is what he believes. He places his hand on top of yours, which was still resting peacefully on his face. 

“Gonta just trying to save everyone… please. It’s Gonta’s decision, not Kokichi’s.”

No matter how much you tried, you couldn’t restrain the tears from falling down your face. The reality of what was happening cut through you and you made the painstaking decision to support Gonta and go through with his plan. You weren’t sure if you’d survive the Killing Game, anyway, and part of love is trusting that your partner is making the right choices for themselves and others.

Right now, you had to put faith in him.

“If that’s seriously what you think, then please kill me first.” The shocking response caused Gonta to gasp, widening his eyes. He shakes his head frantically and insists that there’s no way he could do that.

This was the response you expected to receive, but you couldn’t handle it. “Gonta! If you don’t kill me now, you’re just delaying the inevitable! I’m… going to die no matter what! If your plan works, I’ll get executed… or even worse, if it fails I’ll probably become the next Victim. I don’t think I have what it takes to survive this fucked up Game, so do you want that for me?”

He stares at you in bitter silence, a serious look taking over his face. He looked so solemn, and his eyes were glassy with tears. A single drop rolled down his cheek as he sniffed and finally shakes his head, “No…”

“Gonta, I trust you. If I’m going to die, I don’t want it to be by anyone else’s hand but yours and… if your plan works, Monokuma will have to execute me, right? Whatever you do to me will be far less painful than whatever he has in store,” you tighten your now trembling grip on his palm, “please, do this for me, sweetheart.”

He winces at your words but ultimately realized that this was the right thing to do. It was the most merciful end that you could possibly meet and Gonta didn’t want Monokuma to slowly and painfully kill you. He wouldn’t be able to watch him torture you like that, and make you suffer; he couldn’t live with that thought burned into his memory.

So, he reluctantly agreed and accepted your demands. Although, he didn’t want to be the one to ultimately end your life, he felt as though he had no other choice. If he didn’t do this now and sacrificed you along with the other students at the Trial, he would have indirectly caused your death, anyway. At least this way you won’t suffer as much.

You press one last kiss against his lips, and both of you finally release the hot tears that were forming in your eyes. Although this was just in the Virtual World, it still felt so real. The kiss felt like it always did, almost as if he was really here in front of you.

It takes you a long while to finally separate. Gonta gazes into your eyes one last time and whispers a weak apology in your ear.

Through teary eyes, you choke out a reassuring sentence. “Don’t apologize to me, Gonta, you’re saving me,” you close your eyes and squeeze his hand, “you’re saving everyone. You aren’t a bad person.”

He stares down at the unbreakable toilet paper that was supposed to be used to kill Miu, and bites his lip as he realizes what he’s about to do. “Gonta loves you, (Y/N)… Goodbye.”

You’ve heard stories from your classmates about a boy who lived far away in the woods.

Apparently he got lost chasing bugs at such a young age, and was raised by...wolves? Reptilian people? Nobody knew for sure.

But you’ve also heard tales of how his time in the woods made him grow up to become the “Ultimate Entomologist”, having discovered unknown insects and even a parasitic worm that saved the lives of many. 

Though no one knew if he still lived in those woods, you hoped he was there because..you wanted to show him your appreciation.

So as the Ultimate Baker, you put your talent to good use by baking him some chocolate chip cookies. They became so popular around the world you might as well say that’s where your Ultimate spawned from.

Once they were done, you put them into a box and grabbed your backpack before making your way to the forest, determined to find this boy and thank him personally.

It was quiet and peaceful, aside from the occasional bird chirping in the distance, though you were aware that danger could pop up at any-

Mondo

Mondo abruptly showed up after you left the dining hall, getting a snack before the nighttime announcement.

He seemed stressed out, and you wondered what was up. Though he only gave you a kiss and claimed he was tired.

It was an extremely rushed kiss, and you worried something was wrong. So you hastily ate your snack before returning to the dorms.

You noticed his door was open, but as you entered...you could hear crying.

The big, tough biker you’ve come to know and love was quietly sobbing on his bed--hunched over, his coat discarded, and his head in his hands.

“Mondo? What’s wrong?”

He immediately goes quiet. And when he looks at you, his eyeliner is completely smudged, forming black trails down his cheeks.

Tries playing it off as allergies, at first, but gave up when you pointed out he didn’t have any.

He finally shows you his motive (the dark/embarrassing secret), feeling ashamed that he didn’t do so when you showed him yours earlier.

He explains what happened with him and his brother, and you simply listen and take his hand in reassurance.

His voice cracks at the end and the tears he suppressed return once more.

You hug him tightly, letting him lean his muscular frame against you as he sobs into your shoulder, before he forces himself to calm down again.

It breaks your heart when he admits you’re stronger than him--because you trusted him enough to show your secret when he couldn’t even do that himself.

When he asks if you still wanted to date a monster and a coward like him, you softly reassure him he’s neither of those.

He feels stupid for crying, though you tell him it’s “less manly” to hide his true feelings. Even strong men have their weaknesses and it’s okay.

Gundham

When one of the Dark Devas fall ill--Gundham is clearly in a panic.

He thought they were all enchanted with immunity....he though he did all his research right....so what could’ve gone wrong??

You step in to nurse the poor little hamster back to health. As the Ultimate Veterinarian, it didn’t take long to find a diagnosis. And fortunately you knew how to treat it.

But when you go to the living room to let Gundham know of his pet’s condition, you can see his face burrowed completely into his scarf.

Though after hearing a sniffle, you join him on the couch in concern. And only then does he look at you...with wet eyes and a red nose.

Gundham Tanaka--the Supreme Overlord of Ice--was crying. 

He removed his tattoo and eye contact beforehand so they didn’t get ruined.

“Gundham, honey...your sweet Dark Deva will be okay.” You hug him. “They’re in good hands. I can treat them. You trust my talent, right?”

He could only curl up in your arms, sniffling quietly.

“Yes, but...I feel like a fool. I know my Four Dark Devas of Destruction better than anyone. And for some..mysterious foul plague to infest one of their bodies...it makes me feel...utterly helpless. They’re suffering, [y/n], and I..I-I can only watch..”

Considering how much pride he takes in caring for animals, his frustration and fear is understandable.

“Also I am certainly not weeping like a pathetic child," he insists, despite his head being on your chest and his hand clutching your arm with no intentions of letting go.

You tell him you’re glad he’s expressing his worries more--in fact he’s been better at expressing emotions in general ever since you two began dating.

Kaito

Another body discovery announcement was made....but Kaito didn’t find you present at the scene like everyone else.

You were missing, and he immediately worries that you became another undiscovered victim.

So he abandoned Shuichi to search high and low, telling himself that you are okay and you are alive and you are--

But..the longer his search becomes, the more his mask of confidence and heroism starts to crack..

He can only plead that the universe is on his side. You couldn’t die..not here! Not when you promised him you’ll go to space with him when all of this is over.

But after nearly breaking your doorbell (and almost busting down the door), it turns out you were just a heavy sleeper.

Heck.. for you to sleep through a body discovery announcement was something new, but you were downright exhausted from working in your Ultimate lab all day.

When you groggily opened the door--to see your sobbing boyfriend on the other side--you’re suddenly wide awake as he nearly tackles you to the floor.

He was crying as he hugs you tight, and you felt awful when you learned the reason for his behavior.

When he tries hiding his tears, you cup his face and gently brush them away instead.

“Kaito, I’m sure even you know there’s no shame in crying. You tell us that all the time...but remember that applies to you, too.”

After helping him calm down, you two head to the crime scene to help Shuichi with the investigation.

Though Kaito is squeezing your hand extra tight, thanking the stars you were still with him.

Ryoma

Surprisingly, you had Ryoma’s motive video. But it wouldn’t be right to view something that’s not your own.

Though he comes to your room first, with your video in-hand. And so you agree to watch them together.

First it was yours--which had you scared at first, but Ryoma was quick to assure you that it had to be fake.

You trusted his words, deciding to watch his video next.

But..all you two saw was a black screen with construction tape and a sad-looking Monokuma declaring that there was “no one in the world who was important” to Ryoma.

Not even your name was mentioned, so you’re certain this one especially had to be fabricated.

But when you look at Ryoma, he’s staring down at the floor, his beanie covering more of his eyes. And he’s also....trembling?

“..Ryo?”

“D-Damnit..I already knew that..but...why did he have to shove it into my face like this?”

When he finally looks up, there’s tears streaming down his face, which he tries hiding with his arm.

He’s taken by surprise when you suddenly bring him into your lap, hugging him gently.

“It’s like what you said to me..that bullshit video is just edited. Heck, I wouldn’t even call that a video. But..even if it’s true..it only mentioned the world outside this school. And inside this school...there’s someone who’s most important to you.”

It doesn’t take long for him to realize this, as he smiles a bit and lets himself snuggle against your chest more, calming down.

Someone most important to him...someone worth living for...that’s you alright.
