Some baking challenge

(Not my idea!) Taka decided that it was the best way of bonding for friends

And some more shenanigans below:

Dw, they somehow bake the cake!

Some of my thoughts, while I drew all of it:

Kiyotaka: Without his sight he was completely unaware of where he was and was afraid of losing balance so he voiced his remarks all the time but too loudly for his own good. Because of this, he couldn't hear anyone. But when he got to the table, he always gave the right commands and did a lot of things himself, even blind.

Also, he got completely out of kitchen at some point, Mondo was tasked to bring him back.

Mondo: Unable to express his anger, so he was constantly boiling inside, dropped everything even though Taka was the one blindfolded lol. Funny how he still tried to speak, but only came out mumbling. Therefore, he was the only one who listened to Chihiro, since Taka was always somewhere else.

Mondo was tasked with "carrying" Taka around so he didn't get lost.

Leon: He was leon-self as always. He wasn't listening at all, but it was his idea to record the process. Leon didn't even know what they were supposed to do! But I think he got into it, listening to music and doing simple tasks that others couldn't. For example, chopping (because he enjoyed it and almost made a salad lol) or mixing, since Mondo dropped all the ingredients and wasn't allowed to hold a knife, and Taka, while mixing everything in a bowl, managed to spill all out AND splash everyone else 'cus of his eagerness.

Chihiro: Chihiro was there for support, jokes, chatter and keeping everyone in check as Taka was blind. But as you can see they quite easily got distracted, while they discovered more about their Alter-Ego project.

--- First, I saw the original on YouTube, then a video on TikTok with characters, and I decided to take this idea and draw a few sketches for it. If there's any problem with this, DM me or just tell me. We'll figure this out 😉

being dotted on is such a beautiful thing. just the simple act of doing something small and completely unnecessary for or to someone just because you appreciate their presence and want to lessen their load is so sweet.

going along with that, i choose to believe that after something like gym class or working out, basically whenever a shower afterwards is a non negotiable, taka takes the time to undo and brush out mondo's pompadour just to make his shower routine quicker and easier. taka's main form of dotting has go to be doing little acts of service that make everyday tasks, such as washing hair, faster and more efficient. not necessarily because he thinks that other people would take too long and that he does things more efficiently, but because he sees it as giving that person more time to partake in other productive activities.

he's a little lost on the whole spoiling someone for spoiling sakes idea, but he's got such a pure and big heart that it really doesn't change the fact that its a super sweet gesture.
