hi there! im The Operating Cluster, a radqueer multiself/segreID individual who wanted a space to be a little more open about those things!! you can also call me anchor, or use any of my segreIDs names (listed below) for me!
i recently migrated this blog to a new main account @operatingcluster-interacts !! if you suddenly lose a follower and then gain one from me, thats probably why!
i coin stuff sometimes! PLEASEEE feel free to archive my terms, add them to wikis, or reupload them to pinterest with credit or links back to me!!
i have no specific DNI and instead will block just bc its unrealistic for me to enforce all of my personal boundaries for every interaction in this community, BUT for the sake of clarity:
Do Not Follow: pro-contact for any form of nonconsensual harm or para (ex. zoo, pedo, biasto), pro-contact for bio consang (personal boundary), cishateful (ex. zionist, nazi, racist, IDphobe) etc! respectful AND disrespectful antis are free to follow and interact tho bc i like attention :P idm N.I.N. and other transhatefuls but i will block you if youre using legit hate symbols/dogwhistles as part of your aesthetic
more information on me, my segreIDs, and stances below the cut!
i am profic, proship, propara, pro-transid, and pro-nonharmful transition!
i generally say im anti-c for simplicitys sake, but im closer to limited-c and / or poly-c !
i am a user of TME / TMA terminology bc these terms have relevance when discussing transmisogyny ! they are not equivalent to AFAB or AMAB bc cis men AND women are TME and intersex individuals are frequently TMA! i also dont like the usage of the words transmisandry or transandrophobia bc misandry and androphobia are not forms of systemic discrimination and oppression like misogyny is, but i understand why people have created these terms to describe the intersectional experience of discrimination/oppression of trans men. i just Dont like it and would love if we
im critical of non-traumagenic/non-disordered systems and the communities surrounding them for a few reasons (which im happy to discuss if you ask!!) but i will always be respectful towards non-traumagenic/non-disordered plural beings because your life and experiences are not my job to worry about! im happy to interact with you if you are with me :]
i might post about anti-rq "alternatives" to transID like desirdae and dissomei sometimes because i believe in accepting these identities as subsets/microlabels of transID! we should all hold hands and frolic in a field about it ok?
my segreIDs and their labels!
bold = very important to my identity!
color code: not transitioning, want to transition, transitioning, transitioned
if u have any headcanons for any of my segreIDs, PLEASE share!!! im always looking to add more to each of them!!!
⚓️ anchor (as in main self):
these labels are mostly shared among my segreIDs or influence labels that they have!

Transage tips pt one: basics and 0-11 years of age
This includes specific age groups from baby to 11 and also general transage tips
The specific age groups will be based in the present. If you want specific time-age (for example a teen in the 2000s) tips, please send an ask :]
It's below the cut :]
General transage tips
Research the following for your age group:
fashion trends
media tastes
slang & communication style
routines
priorities
aesthetics
Also consider which era of time you want your transage to be from. Do you want to be a teen in the 2000s? A grown man in the 1800s? The choices are endless, so figure this out first.
Adjust your aesthetic. This could be:
Clothing (looser or tailored, playful or minimal)
Accessories (backpacks, purses, tech, jewelry)
Hairstyles and makeup intensity
Color palettes (bright/pastel or muted/neutral)
Consume media associated with that age:
TV shows, cartoons, YouTubers, or movies
Music playlists from that era
Games, apps, or hobbies common at that age
Different ages tend to have different routines...
Sleep/wake habits
Free time structure
Responsibilities or play
Socialization style
Example:
Younger -> more play, comfort items, structure
Older → more independence, planning, solitude
Adjust slang usage, emojis, or tone
Notice formality levels
Observe how people of that age express excitement, stress, or humor
Sounds good? Okay, let's move on to specific age ranges.
Transage tips: 0-2
At this stage, the core needs are:
safety
warmth
predictability
sensory comfort
nonverbal expression
Simplify your environment.
Create a “low-stim” space:
soft lighting w/ lamps and nightlights
plush blankets or floor mats
muted colors or pastels
minimal noise or gentle background sounds (white noise, lullabies)
Regulate yourself through the body:
rocking gently
holding a plush or pillow
wrapping up tightly in a blanket
slow breathing
humming or soft vocal sounds
Instead of complex speech:
gestures
sounds (humming, babbling)
pointing
facial expressions
writing single words or drawing instead of journaling
Comfort objects:
stuffed animals
soft textures (fleece, cotton)
familiar scents
a “favorite” item you always return to
Foods:
soft foods
warm drinks
repetitive, comforting meals
baby food from markets
Ages 0-2 need predictability. This means:
the same comfort routine daily
fixed times for rest, comfort, and activity
reducing decision-making during this state
Ages 3-5
Design a space that feels inviting:
bright or soft colors
floor seating (pillows, rugs)
art supplies
toys, plushies, blocks, figurines
simple music or kids’ shows as background (optional)
Age-appropriate activities:
coloring, drawing, stickers
building blocks or LEGO
puzzles
pretend play (tea party, dolls, animals, superheroes)
watching cartoons or animated movies
simple games with easy rules
Expressing yourself:
short sentences
naming feelings directly (“I’m sad,” “I’m happy”)
asking “why” and “what if”
talking out loud while playing
Ages 3–5 are emotional:
it’s okay to cry, laugh, sulk, or get excited
express emotions through drawing or play
label feelings without judging them
Choose clothes that feel:
soft
loose
non-restrictive
easy to move in
Food:
finger foods
repetitive snacks
warm meals
fun shapes or plates if it helps
name plushies or toys
invent stories
talk to imaginary characters
draw worlds, maps, or creatures
Ages 6-8
Ideas for your space:
desk or table for projects
books, comics, or graphic novels
craft kits, science kits, building toys
labeled bins or folders
Very age-aligned activities:
drawing with goals (“I’ll draw a dragon”)
Legos or model kits
simple science experiments
board games or card games
video games with clear rules and levels
learning trivia, fun facts, or maps
At 6-8, communication is:
clearer and more detailed
emotionally honest
sometimes dramatic or literal
You can:
narrate what you’re doing
explain ideas out loud
ask lots of questions
name feelings and reasons
No baby talk needed.
This age:
wants praise and encouragement
feels frustration strongly
cares about fairness and rules
You should:
celebrating small wins
saying “that’s not fair” and working through it
cooling off, then returning to play
journaling with drawings or bullet points
Clothes should be comforting and show some personality:
graphic tees
hoodies
sneakers
fun socks or accessories
backpacks instead of purses (if it helps the mindset)
Food and snacks:
structured snack times
simple meals
variety
favorite foods on rotation
Age appropriate interests include:
collecting things (cards, figures, facts)
deep dives into favorite topics
wanting to show what you know
Let yourself:
info-dump
organize collections
make lists or charts about interests
Ages 9-11
Create a space that is...
organized but personal
slightly mature, still fun
reflective of interests
Ideas:
desk with notebooks or planners
chapter books, comics, manga
posters, collections, fandom items
storage for projects or hobbies
Activities may include:
reading longer books or series
writing stories, journaling, or lists
researching favorite topics
drawing with detail and effort
strategy games, puzzles, or simulations
coding basics, map-making, world-building
At 9-11, expression becomes:
more opinionated
thoughtful and sometimes intense
emotionally aware but still literal
You can:
explain your reasoning out loud
debate ideas (even with yourself)
write “letters,” essays, or rants
ask moral or “why is it like this?” question
Expressions:
validating your feelings without minimizing them
processing emotions through writing or art
setting personal rules or boundaries
taking breaks when overwhelmed
Clothing:
hoodies, jackets, layers
graphic tees or subtle fandom references
sneakers or practical shoes
backpacks, watches, simple jewelry
Food:
structured meals and snacks
independence in choosing foods
familiar favorites with variety
eating while reading or watching something
Lmk if you want part two. Sorry this is all i could get rn!!!
hi radqueers can we as a community STOP ENCOURAGING DEHUMANIZATION & HARASSMENT!!! THANKS!!!!
genuinely saw someone saying that if anyone views antis as people , theyre fake radqueers . and thats just ?? insane ?? a reminder that dehumanization DOES NOT FUCKING HELP ANYONE. it will not make antis easier to cope with , it will not make antis want to hear us out , it will not keep antis away from our spaces .
antis are not some mythical evil beast of hatred incarnate sent by a higher power to destroy radqueers . they arent wild animals who act on fear and instinct and must be "domesticated" in order to be worthy . by portraying antis as "not people" , youre taking away the most important thing to remember abt antis and bigots of ANY KIND ; anyone can be hateful . anyone can be a bigot . YOU could be a bigot . maybe you were an anti at one point . were you simply less than a person ? did your life not matter simply because you were an anti ? if antis cant be people , if theyre nothing but sick incorrigible beasts , then any radqueer whos ever been an anti is also less than worthy ? they dont deserve to be respected because at one point they were inhuman scum , right? if any radqueer couldve been an anti , any anti can be a radqueer . so how is one less deserving of dignity than the other ?
I know EXACTLY what post you are talking about . And I COMPLETELY agree .
Adding something i said in the reblog I made to the post we are talking about , not all antis are pro harassment or pro bullying , or bad people ! Im friends with some antis , and when I was an anti of course I was friends with a lot of them , and guess what ? All of them including myself were / are anti harassment and very chill . At the end of the day its just a big difference in beliefs and the antis that are harassing and bullying and doxxing people are a very small minority . Of course at the end of the day everyone should be accepting of eachothers attractions and identities and labels and such , im not saying otherwise , but we are certainly NOT going to get there by generalizing , doxxing , and hurting eachother . Antis already generalize us as all being bad , why the hell should we go down to their level ?
transharm tags r so annoying to go thru when yr acespec. Stop hornyposting the same wannabe yandere/victim things over n over n share tutorials on how to make a gun or something actually useful
also had a funny moment with my wife the other day where they looked at this blog and were immediately overwhelmed by all the labels in my pinned. i said JOIN MEEEE and they said i dont think ive reached that level of character customization yet,
