Driving through the Isle of Skye its hard not to believe a place like this isn’t enchanted by fairies and mythical creatures. The landscape is other worldly and feels so distant from the built up congested city scapes of the world. I think naturally the human spirit craves nature and the outdoors and some day we will yearn to return to her rhythm and harmony that keeps our world in balance…

I think most people rush to get out of Inverness to see the highlands but by being on foot I feel like it helps me to slow down and connect with what’s around me. On my first evening being in Inverness I asked a local girl who served me at a restaurant where she recommended I go for a good sunset walk and a view. I was looking online for view points on google but couldn’t think where I could get to in time. She suggested Clachnaharry so I walked through the city and followed the river Ness to a small canal that led me out to the bay. It was such a beautiful walk met by light showers and then the sky opening up to a pallet of pastel painted clouds.

I have had the privilege to shoot and connect with a variety of brands over the years to produce high end quality content for various platforms and for their commercial marketing.

Views from England’s highest summit, Scafell pike. All in it must have been a good 5-6 hour hike including a 45 min break at the top to enjoy the views. I’m looking forward to summiting more peaks in the Lake District over the years!

Happy Diwali everyone 🪔 I hope you’re all using today to send love and positive affirmations and prayers out into the universe. Today is a deeply nostalgic time of year for me. I almost felt like crying because I just miss my friends and adopted family in India so much. I can’t wait to go back and hug everyone and share our experiences between this time apart. It’s been so long now. On the plus side it’s allowed me to spend more time traveling and exploring the UK this last year which has made me very grateful.  Originally I was supposed to head back out to India March 2020 after living there for almost 2 years but then the pandemic happened and I’ve been stuck here ever since just waiting to go back! I’ve updated my website today and added a ‘curated images’ tab as a place to gradually upload all my travel and documentary imagery. It’s a work in progress because I just have so much to share and write about but it’s all going to come together so check it out at the link in my bio! This image was from my first time in the Lake District last year! A dream destination you all know I’ll definitely keep going back to for the rest of my life.

Last year I had plans to hike Snowdonia for my birthday but it got canceled due to heavy winds and a torrential down pour so I jumped at the chance to visit the Lake District and hike England’s highest peak with one of my close friends!  I can’t believe this was last year already! This last year has gone so quickly I think because the start off to the new year in lockdown and all the rule changes but it’s definitely made me realize one thing, time is our greatest asset. Over recent months the shock at how close we are to another new year has made me open my eyes and to focus on prioritizing my time more wisely.

It’s the face of somebody completely contented she has caved in , listened to her heart and decided to book a flight home to the UK for Christmas Eve... when I saw all the photos from my grandpas 80th birthday I got really sad I wasn’t at home...
