Gamzee is Actually Disfigured

So, hear me out. I think the reason gamzee wears clown paint is to cover up the fact that he’s horribly disfigured. His face is probably covered in numerous scars (ive found at least three in my research) and he uses paint to make them less noticeable. This also explains why Gamzees Dad would have left him. He though Gamzee a pack of ground meat instead of a troll. Gamzee paints on fake lips, eyes, and cheek bones. Like an Instagram model, Gamzee uses contour to make his flaws less prominent. This also explains why terezi wanted to stay blind. It helped her to not stare at him and be rude.

In my opinion, this changes a lot. If Gamzee wasn’t normal in appearance, it would explain why he stole Kanayas foundation. Once she became a rainbow drinker it was too dark for her skin tone anyways. Gamzee needed it, and would face the wrath of a two ton, solid vampire in order to get it.

Now if Gamzee is a master of contour, it leads me to believe he helped “evil calliope” disguise herself as Caliborn. He just used a strong rouge to cover the green and make her cheeks a more “evil color”. Then they were able to escape notice because Caliborn thought he was looking into a mirror when he saw her.

But that’s a whole other basket of eggs to go for. Back to the theft. This means that Gamzee would be the only one to supply the cosplayers on the meteor with makeup. It makes sense that Vriska would be mad at him now, since he’s overpriced. Just think about it guys. This could be a game changer and it makes me rethink the whole second arc.

Their reasoning for why John isn't derpy is because "he's an asshole". John is a multidimensional character. He can be an ass AND have moments of stupidity. They should have just said "I think the term derp is annoying and that you shouldn't use it in response to a character I like, because I find it distasteful". I could also pull up a panel of nepeta being an asshole and say. "SEE. NEPETA ISN'T CUTE OR SWEET. SHE'S AN ASSHOLE!!" But, that just means nepeta has the capacity to be an asshole, NOT that she doesn't have moments of quirky cuteness or silliness. I think John is a pretty cute kid, as far as thirteen year old boys go. Think about most thirteen year old boys you've met before. Most of them are right little shits, aren't they?A real bit of helpful information on roleplaying: Don't subject yourself to tunnel vision. Remember that your character is fluid. People are subject to change and growth and will not act the same over and over again. Sure, don't change your character to make them unrecognizable, but also try not to be one of those assholes who expects someone's character to respond *exactly* like they did in the comic. That is boring. People will find your character bland and pass over what you say if you do that. You might get commended for being "canon", but you probably won't get interacted with that much. Roleplay is about breaking free of canon, or making your own canon. Use what you know as a guide and immerse yourself in your character. Don't parrot their canon selves. *Emulate* them in whatever way makes you feel comfortable. It will give your characters a sense of vivacity that's hard to beat and will make you far more memorable than any run of the mill John that spent more time memorizing what emoticons John used in the comic than having fun.

Oddly specific question but what would happen if two player's dreamselves were fused into a sprite and both players achieved godtier at the same time

Specific questions are better than vague ones. There are several possibilities, given that the Sprite doesn't blow up whenever the two people merge. The first is that they retain part of each other, though their own personality is the dominant part of their mind, like Jade and Bec. Bits of Bec show at times, but Jade is clearly at the forefront of things. The results could also create a set of twins, or one conglomeration of two mythological roles. The question is, would this make the player have two classes and aspects with powers that are similar to fray motifs, or would they merge into a new classpect to suit the two combined souls? I would think its dependent on how well the Sprite is merged. Do they think of themselves as a whole, or as two miss matched puzzle pieces held together with a half dried out glue stick? This might cause more personality splintering. This leads to a lot of speculative questions. What if only one goes godtier? What happens to the Sprite then? Would godtier Slabs still work if the Sprite is its own self with a different classpect from its contributors ?If you're planning on using this in a writing, I'd say any of these things are possible. There's not really a wrong answer, since it's an unprecedented event with little canon background. Do whatever you think will help your characters develop best, is my advice in this case.

as a person who has done analysises on classes and aspects daily for the past six months, i have to say that i'm not very impressed with your blog so far. i think you need to reread the wiki and stop being so brash and rude about everyone

Mituna Theory?

I’ve seen a lot about the Mituna theory on the HST tag, but I don’t think I agree with all of it. I mean, sure clearly his helmet and full body suit indicates that he might be pretending to be somebody else, but the idea that it’s alpha calliope squeezed into there just doesn’t add up.

I mean it does make sense that calliope would need a good disguise to pull off hiding among the trolls for so long, but I think she might be hiding somewhere else, perhaps as Kurloz (explaining why he doesn’t talk).

But take a look at “Mituna” here:

He’s always in yellow, almost schematically. And his quirk, if you look at it closely, can make the word 73472 (teats) without using regular letters. Mysteriously enough, the numbers 420 are all present in his quirk as well. This has lead me to believe that Gamzee’s dream self is actually pretending to be Mituna, since he is often correlated with titties and the weed number. (420)

When prospit blew up, it knocked his horns off his head and sent him careening towards the outer ring, where eventually he found the dream bubbles. From there, he learned more about the dancestors. He met up with Kurloz and they became moirails. If Kurloz is secretly calliope, then Mituna is Kurloz’s dad! It’s more than likely, since we all know Mituna never died in the alpha timeline. And no iteration of gamzee has ever died, so his dream self has to be bumbling around somewhere. Why not hide in plain site, beneath a helmet with false horns and a full body suit?

could you tell me what a mage of rage could do?

A Mage of rage would be the lord of douches. Like. Hold up. Have you ever been to that one game? Call of duty? This guy would make the angry, energy drink fueled 14 year olds from there seem like tiny little fruit flies. And guess what. They’re the fucking hornet that’s dive bombing Granny G. over there. Bombing her so hard that her dentures shoot across the room when she inevitably hollers "oh shit". Because what else are you supposed to do when you see a hornet?

Mages are natural know it alls and tend to be a bit big headed in general. The rage class deals with negative emotions. As such, a Mage of rage would have a great deal of understanding of how negative emotions effect others. For most of their life, this Mage has been in a primarily negative environment. Parental abuse may be a factor in this. Because of this, the Mage may seem defensive or particularly sensitive to those around them. They may have been bullied or traumatized as a kid. It would vary with each Mage, but each would have their own trials and hardships.

Maybe they have an anger issue. Maybe they bottle up their anger and take a nice bath in pure salt every night, wallowing in self pity, hate, and all of those other things that most people experience at a lesser extent. One thing is for sure: the Mage of Rage would be familiar with anger and would probably perpetuate it. Online, they may be a beloved internet troll, cashing in the harsh keks (or whatever form of payment trolls accept these days). This could be because they enjoy having control over hate and fear, since they’ve never really had much control over bad things happening to them in the past.

On their team, they could inspire others to take action by belittling them or exposing their cowardice. They might be a good strategist, as most mages tend to be. They would know how to spike fear in their enemies, and how to channel their negative emotions into something productive. They would have to learn to be more accepting to criticism. They would also need to learn that their negative actions effect others just as much as the negative actions of others once hurt them.

Maid of Breath, please

A maid of breath would be required to ensure the stability of breath in her timeline. This means they’d always have mints on hand, though they are an elusive little fuck if you actually want to find them. I’d imagine that a maid of breath would have Permissive or Uninvolved parents. They spent most of their life having to answer to no one, and might have trouble being part of a team, even if they’re the leader. They’d have to overcome that, as well as their laziness. Growing up in an environment that doesn’t reward good work, leads one to give up on trying.They’d probably be the type of friend that initiates fun activities that put the others out of their comfort zones. A maid of breath is the backbone of their group, even if they (or anyone else) don’t realize it. The fun, independent personality of a maid of breath would keep morale and confidence up in the group. Motivation is a strong thing. A powerful group is useless without it. Their physical powers are obvious, as they would be able to control the wind to “clean” and “upkeep” their session. While they have the potential to be a influential fighter, their ability to keep their team in good spirits is probably their most powerful weapon.

A slyph of void would be the fount of gossip. I’d wager that they’d seem inviting and welcoming. They have the sort of face you could just open up to and then forget about, even though you just spilled your darkest, barbecue sauce coated beans. Perhaps they’d be interested in helping players going through depression, though they might not be the best therapist around. Their penchant for listening to juicy gossip might be the sort of outlet someone needs. I’d think they’d have a corrupt planet. It might be Utopian Society, which is really just a Dystopian Society shrouded in mystery. It’d be part of their quest to try and grant some reprieve to their bland, robotic consorts. When it comes to fixing nothing, a Sylph of Void is your gal.
